Hi all. First time reader here. i'm on HoC right now.

As i know now heboric was a once priest of Fener, before being cast out by the boar god (of which i know nothing concerning the reason, maybe missed it).

I am reading now the part where Heboric had a dream about the jade giants, when he woke up he's surprised of not being blind anymore, being agile and sharp as a tiger would be. Tattoos disappeared(new ones appeared, i am assuming they're the kind Gruntle had after becoming the servant of Treach)

my question is the following: is Heboric now the same as Gruntle? what's the relation between the dream he had about the jade giants and Treach choosing him to be servant after he wakes directly from the dream?

i am only asking in case i missed something. If not then i'd be patient and wait to find out. Also, please correct me if i am wrong on any information i mentionned above.

thanks!

Heboric will muse on his condition and you will get the information you seek.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Welcome, and enjoy!
At this point, you caught the key bits... Treach has invested Heboric. Heboric’s link to the Jade is still there.
The rest is RAFO. If you’re still wondering at the end of the book, post whatever questions, but I don’t want to spoil.
