Don't be ridiculous. Malazan is totally the Belgariad/Mallorean set in a different world with different characters and a different magic system.
Both were ten books. Both have characters named 'Garath'. Do i need to spell it out for you???

What is this Malazan Book of the Fallen?

I came here to discuss and honor the Sword of Truth. You probably haven't heard of it but it is the zenith of literature.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Yer a Soletaken-D'ivers-Mage, 'Arry.

Ah, I see. Her reaction was to the use of 'Bot'. I am growing old and struggle to keep track of the correct terminology. I am sorry RACHEL, I should have used Replicant.
