I finished this on Monday and I loved it. Shallan's identity crisis was annoying but otherwise it was great. It feels strange knowing that even if he puts out a Stormlight book every three years, I will still be in my late fifties before I get to read the conclusion.

Maybe a bit more than half way through. This series will be crushed under its own weight at this point! A 1300 page book, which is book 3, in a ten book series that already has at least one side novella and is becoming greatly more tired to the cosmere idea. Worldhoppers everywhere.
However the real reason it feels like it will be crushed under its own weight is that so little gets done in the 1300 pages, or at least the 700-800 I have read so far. Its a problem I have begun to have with most fantasy but in this book/series it seems particularly bad.
