You know, its strange, but the two people voting me - Ruse and Nim are the people I consider most likely to be scum. At least one of them. I don't know why. Pure gut feeling.

I've seen the sum of Ruse's posts in whole as perfect symp play. Ruse stays in game often, trying to play a highly interested townie, but reminds me of someone keeping a fire burning by tossing logs into the flames.

Ruse gives enough, more than enough, input to maintain high visibility on thread, but doesn't really say anything concrete. I believe his intentions are to stir the pot, muddy the thread, and help push lynches. This is 101 symp play.

At this point in the game, I feel we learn the most by lynching Ruse, hoping to hit scum, narrowing down the suspect list and limiting multiple accusations associated with the player.

Here is where I want and will be voting in time. I will not do so without hearing from Ruse and the rest of the thread. The consensus may be that we do not wish to vote a potential symp, wishing to build a case for BB in the stead.

More thought leads me towards thinking how Big Ben could also choose a behavior similar to Ruse, simply due to the fact that he does have a jump.

This makes me think Ruse is scum, maybe UB

So Nimander's just saying let's get rid of low posters, don't care which. A bit blase, but I see some reasoning. Harder for a high poster to hide changes if they become BB.

I've been wondering whether a first-life BB would play more 'out there', knowing they can fuck it up. Not sure. I suspect they might just play the same. I've got a tingling about Fanderay, but I have to read up to see why. At the moment it's just because they're right there, in the middle of the pack, just middling about.

So a read of Fanderay's posts come up with lots of interaction with Nimander's posts (not necessarily directly replying to Nim, but commenting on something said in a post by Nim), doing some helpful translation of Nim's pics for Ay Estos most recently. They have also somewhat scattergunned their votes, throwing them around at a fair few people (then removing and being one of the last on a train in, I think, the examples of Hanas and Osseric). Lots of votes, few detailed opinions on why those votes (most seem like 'pressure' votes rather than 'I believe this person to absolutely be scum' case votes.


Think I'll have a look at Jalan now, as that name seems to have come up a fair bit.

Although I'm reading Jalan at the moment and I'm seeing some odd things there too.

Hmm. At first, I thought, oh look at that, Jalan's against lynching the two silenced players, perhaps he knows something about them eh? But after a while, I thought they actually replied to those accusations pretty well, pointing out that town often do silly things and that they were saying give them the opportunity to speak rather than speed lynching them.

I also like what they picked out to vote on Nimander for.

I'm still thinking about why Kalse might be killed. If we're thinking BB isn't around or paying attention, then Nimander wouldn't really fit into that. Indeed, not that many would (Thyrllan? Eldat?). I think in this instance, considering why Kalse might have been killed is a bit of a dead end investigation-wise.

Because there's not much to know. Lots of posts, most about how they're going somewhere, or coming back from somewhere, or getting a coffee. Numerous short questions directed at others. Their one push was Ay Estos/Jalan, which I was less than convinced by myself. Now they're gently guiding towards Thyrllan.

As yet, no standout candidate, though I prefer Fandy/Merrid over Jalan. Off home now, so won't be on for a bit, but in the meantime, of those that I've read up on

Slightly ahead of Merrid (a toss-up really) because of the pattern of voting early without much reason, before finally switching as a late voter onto a train that's taken off.
