I've seen the sum of Ruse's posts in whole as perfect symp play. Ruse stays in game often, trying to play a highly interested townie, but reminds me of someone keeping a fire burning by tossing logs into the flames.

Ruse gives enough, more than enough, input to maintain high visibility on thread, but doesn't really say anything concrete. I believe his intentions are to stir the pot, muddy the thread, and help push lynches. This is 101 symp play.

At this point in the game, I feel we learn the most by lynching Ruse, hoping to hit scum, narrowing down the suspect list and limiting multiple accusations associated with the player.

Here is where I want and will be voting in time. I will not do so without hearing from Ruse and the rest of the thread. The consensus may be that we do not wish to vote a potential symp, wishing to build a case for BB in the stead.

More thought leads me towards thinking how Big Ben could also choose a behavior similar to Ruse, simply due to the fact that he does have a jump.

So, to clarify: do you think Ruse is BB or UB?

Because I really don't think we should be voting based on who we think is UB. Osseric's lynch shows that's pretty much a waste of time.

I'm re-caffeinating but can't actually remember Aranatha or Thyrllan having a presence on thread. What are both of your thoughts on them as a quiet UB?

My thoughts are I don't really care about the UB. He's a goddamn symp.
We need to be looking for the BB. When we put good pressure on BB, we'll flush out the symp to defend him.

It's certainly not out of the questions that NImander is BB pretending to be silenced to make it seem like we didn't lynch UB, but that's a really big stretch. You're probably right in that Osseric was not likely UB... But yeah, I'd really like to find a BB candidate. I'm thinking of just doing a 180 and going after people I've been more or less ignoring, cause the scummy things I've picked up on so far this game have not done much to help town.

According to the WIKI they are supposed to be out yesterday, but yeah, that's clearly out of date. I was just by the book store today to pick up Oathbringer, and checked up on Deadhouse Landing, and according to their systems, not due out here in Canada until December 5!

Gonna have to fire up ye old Amazon methinks!
