I am very much of the "I try not to get involved in the game until it has actually started" school. I posted once to show that I was around and ready to go once the game started. I think we should lynch Anomandaris. There was that provision in the OP about silencing oneself, and what better time to do that than on Day 1 (prevents you from saying anything stupid at least...). Plus it will be hard to get a read on Anom with this silencing today (unless he wants to tell us he is scum through carefully selected emoticons), so this will kill 2 birds with one stone.

I'm really not sure why someone would pretend to be silenced. I mean, sure, a symp might do it to sow confusion, but if as in this case the symp is also the one doing the silencing, all they do is paint a target on their own backs.
