Heboric also threw him pretty hard on their DG journey to Shaik's camp. Maybe into a like a rock wall or something? Maybe not, but he did toss him somewhere.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Toblakai is a bit moody. He also probably didn't trust whatever was going on with Heboric's hands.
Edit: I thought this was in the DG thread. Yeah, in DG Heboric caught Toblakai's sword and sent him flying.

Heboric also "sees" Karsa's history (his chains if you will tying him to his victims), which freaks Karsa out.
