This doesn't look completely terrible but I feel like this was a different script that somebody just slapped the Jumanji name on and said make it work. Like, let's Freaky Friday a bunch of popular actors and sell some tickets.

Agreed! But it still looks fun, I think.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

Honestly, should have called it something different. Jumanji a comedy? Was it? Why did they think that? Cause Robin Williams was the lead. Well as well as a comedian, he was a fucking great actor. Grr.

Did you guys ever see that Sunday (not Saturday) morning cartoon that was like a football team that got transferred into the Knights of the Round Table?
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

That actually looks really good for an 80s cartoon.

It's strange I've never heard of it. Was it part of a toyline?

I believe it was on for a couple years in the 90s, not the 80s, and I don't recall the toy line but it did exist. All of the heroes had special abilities/weapons, and so did the major villains (the bird armor guy, the main male baddie had snake imagery, etc.), so I don't know why it didn't take off. It definitely borrowed ideas from He-Man, Transformers, G.I. Joe, ThunderCats, etc. in terms of individuating its characters' weapons & armor.

I just checked the Wiki and there was even a SNES game that acted as the FINALE for the show lol.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

How quaint, an American football team get transported to become England's greatest Mythical king and his Knights.

Not familiar with that show, I don't think it made it this far, not sure we could have swallowed anot American Arthur (again?)
