OMG! No one mentioned the greatest of them all:
"Aye! Kruppe shall hide no more! Kruppe is the Lady Simtal connivingly disguised!"

"I have lost a friend."
Dujek, on observing Whiskeyjack's body.
Still find it tough to get beyond both scenes in the book, the one where Kallor kills WJ and then when Dujek sees his body and comments "That can't be right, the leg must have come before."

but still awesome
Tehol paused, on hand on the nearest rung. "What? Well, where are all our weapons?"
"We don't have any weapons, master"
"None? Did we ever?"
"No. Some wooden spoons..."
"And are you adept with them?"
"Very."
"Wel, that's all right, then. [...]"

'life belonged to other people, and his only claim to it was his power to take if from them. nor would he recognise hope if it came to him. Too much a stranger, too long a ghost.'

Not really a quote, but an observation
Fiddler at the end of HOC thinking about fallen friends.
"Mortal souls of Raraku. Rararku, the land that had bound them together. Bound them all, as was now clear, beyond even death.
Fiddler was unmindful of how it looked, of what the others thought, upon seeing three men close to a single embrace."
If you've been in the military, despite the everyday hypocrisy and most of the time inept leadership, it is the people on the ship with you that get you through. I really thought that this little passage captured that feeling. The shared feeling of people who under any other circumstances would not be together, but are and now can't imagine any other way of being.
