Why can't I find anything about SE's new SF novel -- Rejoice, A Knife To The Heart -- other than on this podcast?

Is there anybody who knows more about this? Needless to say I'm psyched beyond reason.

Well, huh.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Great podcast... I guess this is the first you hear of it because at the end SE states that it is with about 10 different publishers at the moment. So it is just waiting to get picked up as a one off publication, and then it will start to appear on someone's release schedule...

Aha, I listened to the first 15 minutes of the podcast before I went on a search engine rampage. Should've been more patient. I'll give the rest of the podcast a listen this weekend.

If there was a first contact book that I really loved it was "A learning experience" by Christopher Nuttall.

It's a shame they misspelled his name in the headline.

I am really looking forward to seeing what he can do with a serious science fiction novel. The Willful Child books were a bit too silly for my tastes.

Nice cover!
I wonder if there will be a cross-over between the Search for Extraterrestrial Life (SETI) and some of our favorite Quon Talian plainsdwellers.

I'm not surprised. He's in the book as a character
