The contest?

A picture inspired by Mark Lawrence's Broken Empire series

character, landscape or scene, whatever tickles your fancy.

Don't post entries here, email them to me,
I'll post a new thread, possibly in the other lit forum, somewhere, with a poll in it so the winner will be selected democratically. and if he deigns to agree, Mark can call the winner in event of a tie break.

I'm not really doing it for the copy anyway, don't like the cover much and by my schedule I will not get to read it in atleast a year...

I was refered to this contest a little while back by a good friend. I had a sketch or two prepped but might need to skim through some pages of the first book, see what leaps back at me.

My comment about it was: "It's an alternative scene that has been stuck in my mind for some time now. When Jorg's colt jams at the end of KoT, Makin, to Jorg's surprise, rushes in with AK47 and finishes Egan + shoots all 5 knights of his. Obviously he got the AK after Jorg left him with brothers in Spain."

I must have been high when I came up with that
