Hi guys. First time posting here. Just finished MoI last week, and I'm starting HoC today.
By the end of MoI, Tool and Kilava are described as human beings or at least they are unspoiled flesh and bone again. How did that exactly happened?

I'm pretty positive none of this is spoilery as of MOI:

IIRC, Kilava was never not flesh and bone (i.e. never undead); she rejected the Ritual and her immortality is a byproduct of being a Bonecaster (and thus Soletaken). And Tool is returned to life by the god Togg as reward for freeing Toc the Younger. Neither is human, btw, but Imass.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

For Kilava's immortality, there is another important reason. But that's RAFO.

And I always had the impression that it was Silverfox who returned Tool back to life. I can't remember that Togg played a role in that.

I thought it was because Sfox released him from the Ritual.

I just finished the book and have no idea where you got this information from. Nothing even remotely close to this was mentioned.

I’m not upset at you, I’m just frustrated at how cryptic some of this gets.

I'm sorry, but you had me rolling. How cryptic it gets? MODGOD DELETED BECAUSE SPOILERS OR SOMETHING It gets way more cryptic later, but the payoff is intense. I'm jealous that you are just starting, what cool stuff you have to look forward to. Also, cool commentary to read on the site. Other that rascal, Champ, of course. Don't bother with his posts.

You're replying, now in May 2023, to a post from 2017.
That is corrected in the same thread.
Twice.

As for cryptic, are you referring to the post, or the book, or something else entirely?

And you are replying with Book 8 references (or something) in the Book 3 forum. Which i am deleting.

I was replying that something happened in book 8. Literally, I said, something happens. That’s a spoiler?

Yes.

Also, the poster did not ask about later books. You threw it in there, no spoiler blocks, to disagree w someone's 'feelings' about a post from six years ago.

Thus: deleted. If you have a problem w any of this, feel free to message the mods about it. Do not clutter the subforum.

I'm referring to how cryptic the books are. I love them so far, but at the same time the leaps of faith I feel the author expects the reader to make at times are extreme and this idea Worry inferred is something I felt the desire to comment on whether right or wrong.
