Nice! I can see him flipping a switch, I'd thought about painting a version of beak and always look at actors that fit the role for inspiration.

In my head Beak and jim parsons are the same person.

This really suits that sort of persona.

Thanks Dolmen! It'd be great to see a painted version of Beak from you, once you've finished with the Stormriders and Iron Bars :(

Cheers PLUGO!

We now have Faradan Sort to keep Beak company, and I thought it'd be worth lining them all up to see how things are shaping up -

Nice! The postures are perfect. everyone has the right body language to go with their personality.

Now I need to try! I was at work today, just about to head home. once home I'm gonna try this out. (by this I mean sketch doodle character stuffs)

Oh btw we have a comic project type thing going on, Plugos initiative.

This is the sort of thing that'd fit perfectly into it so if you'd like to give it a go we'd be happy to have you on, or just hear your thoughts when we bump heads trying to work it all out.

@Dolmen: Thank you! That's probably the main thing on my mind when doing these, so I'm glad it comes across :D And yes doo iiit! I love seeing other people's take on Malazan characters, and a loose stylised approach really let's you play around with getting their attitude. As for the comic, that's an incredibly cool idea. I read through the thread at the weekend and I really enjoyed seeing how things are being organised and the choice of the card/ table scene. I'm often quite sporadic with personal work, so I'm hesitant to commit since I wouldn't want to hold things up, and I already have my hands full with this lineup stuff. However, I'd be happy to crit and help where I can - I'll definitely follow along and see how things progress!

@Abyss: Cheers! Yeah, if I go back and touch these up at some point, I'll make the Bonehunters characters in particular more raggy, with more fetishes. Easy to forget that's how they look when they're still an organised army xD

@Coltaine: Haha thank you. I enjoy throwing in little details like that and see if they get noticed :)

Taking a bit of a detour from the Bonehunters. The attitude of this guy was too hard to resist -
