I realise how this sounds but I'm not convinced about Fande being town neither. I mean if he was symp and he saw that he was getting lynched, why would he just surrender to it? Unless he has already had strong ties with his master(s)(which is why I think it's pointless to go looking for ties) it would make little harm to his team and he could have gotten real CF to reveal besides other things.

Well, for what it's worth, I think Fandy's meltdown at that point is exactly how I'd expect Macros the healer to react when he has revealed and no one believes him.

Not exactly, you read it right in that I've noted the post from Gamelon, but I still think Mockra is more likely scum at the minute, based on my feelings on the post quoted and sercs interactions

Cue violent flashbacks. This feels like reading my own posts when I'm scum.

vote Fanderay

What do you mean by this? What is so scummy about that post?

Uh oh guys, I'm defending Fanderay again. Gotta be scum!!!

I should note, btw, that the 'case' on Mockra rests mostly on the fact that he was role speculating. HOWEVER, he was only role speculating about the scum team and didn't say a word about the town team. As townies, it behooves us to try and figure out how many scum there are so we have an idea of when D Day will be, how many people we have to lynch, etc. etc. etc., so I really don't like the Mockra vote.

First thing you have said that I agree with.

Well don't I feel special now!! Posted Image

OMG, guys!! Guys!!!! Serc agreed with me! He's my scum partner! Get him!!! :(

Very flippant and is one reason I did not pursue my interest in his scumminess as the play seemed to jovial and flippant

Gods, this game is so boring!!!

It'd certainly be fun if people actually, you know, participated.

Showing us how bored with everything he is.

Then asking people to waste their vote on him, calling people his scum partner and not voting by the end of day. With his vote we would have lynched Fanderay day one, but maybe he thought of Fanderay as his symp because of the early derailment.

He states day two that he is willing to vote Fanderay out but does not actually vote for him.

That's about as much I can give at the moment, not had much time at all, but I believe Gamelon is scum and it is highly likely that Fanderay is his symp.

Vote Gamelon

It's a bit rich, accusing anyone for not participating in a speedlynch during the first 6 hours of a 48 hour day.

LoL - an OMGUS case!! Woo!

Guys, it's clear, Serc has this game figured out!

Though I wouldn't put it past Macros to healer reveal as a symp - it is mildly clever - that would have been a dangerous move. A simple counter-reveal would have seen him lynched anyway. No, I don't believe for a second that Fanderay was not, in fact, a healer that chose a poor heal target for Night 1, and that he revealed a bit later in Day 1 than he should have.

When we were discussing the merits of his reveal, the only alternative that I believed was true was that he was a killer trying to get one more night out of the game. Given he came up inno, however, I am firmly on the believing the reveal now wagon.

Also, really, you're calling me out for not voting on a day that you all speed lynched a revealed healer? Really? I did what any proper townie would do, and that's wait to hear more, allow more information to be put on thread.

You, Mockra, and Bek, however, pushed hard and fast. I've pulled all the relevant posts above - I think it's pretty clear that you guys were overzealous scum that saw an opportunity to discredit a healer so you wouldn't have to kill him yourself. I wouldn't put it past you to have held back your kill during Night 1 just to seal the deal.

I've been reading back over the thread this morning, and I think we should really lend some thought to Fandy/Maccy's thoughts towards the end of day. I'm going to take his Innocent CF at face value for the time being because the only way that the CF could have been tampered with was if the Innocent Coroner was guarded last night. It's possible, but I think it's unlikely. I'd like to go after one of Maccy's targets at this point. He has shown strong insight in the past and when his gut is on, it's ON.

I'm not sure what I have to defend here, I've made my feelings clear, I think Mockra is suspicious and serc was deflecting from him.
I've noted Gamelons post that I didn't like and noted how Alkend seems to be massively deflecting for him. So for me it's a mockra or Gamelon vote today, but personally I think Mockra because Gamelon has been too verbose and visible of the (imo) two options

Now with this in mind, we also have Mockra as the tipping point on the speedlynch yesterday. I'm not really comfortable with Serc's play as of this point either, but him coming in hard as the first vote on the train yesterday ranks him slightly under Mockra IMHO.

Vote Mockra

I'd agree with this if it wasn't for the fact htat he was basically starting to set up the "I don't believe Fanderay's reveal" thing before Day 1 even timed out. There was no doubt which direction Serc was going to go during Day 2, because he made it very clear at the end of Day 1.
I'd

At the same time, that argument could be made for any of the five players who voted Fandy day one trying to get the lynch. It was unsurprising to me to see the Fandy train rebuild so quickly on day 2 after coming so close on a no-lynch/no-kill day/night 1. I fully expected to see SOMEONE open up the train on him right off the bat.

No, but I don't just mean that he voted for Fandy on Day 1. The moment that Fanderay revealed, Serc was on his ass with an "I don't believe this reveal for a second" and then continued to push and push and push the following day.

Said counter-reveal would also point out the real healer to scum.

It's true, I'll give you that one. Still, if I was the healer and someone else revealed as healer, I'd certainly have to think long and hard about whether or not I'd let that person get away with it so early in the game. In this case, there was no need to do so given we pretty much all disbelieved the reveal originally.

I don't like the speculation that Macros could have been a symp. First, the only way to know that is if you're the Healer. Second, if that's an 8v2 game, there probably is no vanilla symp, and according to PMs posted by PM, Evil Coroner Symp flips guilty. Also, can we just stop asking 'who was he symping'? It's pointless. What kind of symp allows you to read from their posts who they're aligned with unless their master has serious heat on them - and no one except Macros himself had any heat on them so far.

Strong, sensible posts such as the above are why Bek is lower on my likely scum list. The only problem is that you're saying it's not likely that there's a vanilla symp, but then go on to talk about the Evil Coroner symp. Yeah, you're right, that symp WOULD flip guilty, but if there's no vanilla symp, why would there be an evil coroner symp?

I completely agree with your point about there being NO point to speculating on who a potential symp MAY have been symping. That's just a barrel of WIFOM that's ready to overflow if you ask me.
