Nice of you to join us, AF. So can you break down the sequence of events you think happened here a bit more? Are you saying that you think Serc and TS are partnered and Serc reacted to Pallid's vote with an immediate OMGUS by proxy? I'm not quite seeing where the Alkend-as-possible-partner comes from.

Well, i DID, but if it helps...

Pallid signals TS with a joke. Either Serc or Alkend's vote looks like a reaction to TS getting notice. Pallid removes and tries to make it look like his TS vote wasnt anything special.

TS realizes he's drawn too much heat too early, and moves to sacrifice himself for team scum, but lets hi self be talmed off the ledge.

That's too much assumptions to base a D1 case on, and how would his sacrifice help scum anyway?

Distancing because he pulled heat too early.

So apparently I'm having tone issues again. That's ok. Like I said earlier, I'd rather live to play longer but my lynch will provide answers to town and close the case on me. I don't want that haunting town into day 2, because it will end up circling back to that.

vote Tulas

Is this a fucking joke? Answers to what precisely? That Pallid's vague suspicions about you being protected by Mockra even though you had no votes at yourself are wrong? Well what a worthy fucking trade! Hope you're at least roled so it's not so enormously unfair to scum. This can't be real, for fucks sake.
By creating this muddy shit you're now just drawing everyone's attention so that they can tell what a bs play this is. I'm aware what a crap labeling people symps at this point is but this kind of shit again can't be town play. But god knows I wouldn't bother typing this if I didn't think he's town.

So what do you suggest we do about this?

AF is going to hurt himself stretching so much.

I'm not sure where we are time wise but we must be on the clock.

currently would vote AF because of ridiculous stretch, Pallid because something just felt a bit off when I was reading their posts or Serc, because reading after my vote a few things just clinked wrongly in my head for me.

Yes this is all pure gut speculation

I guess we'll see where we are when PS posts an update. I reckon there's probably about 2 hours and change left based on the official start time (5PM EST, yeah?).

Hmm, we're shorter on time than I thought :apt:. Might be tough to get a lynch here. I'm still in favour of Gamelon more than either Pallid or Tulas Shorn, but we really need to get a lynch Day 1 so if I have to switch, I have to switch.

People who are here, what are your thoughts on the Gamelon case? It seems to me quite interesting that he faded into the background when he realised he was getting himself in trouble - suggests a scum hoping that by keeping quiet someone else will take the fall.

He could've distanced WITHOUT sacrificing himself, I really don't particularly like your sequence of one liners followed with the vote summary and this argument

Back. And not even drunk :|

I don't get how Tulas' apparent giving it at L-million makes him look townie to people. I donn't like this kind of sad panda play and it makes me want to vote on him twice. Buuut there's this pile of nonsense Aparal treated us with and I just cannot walk past it:

It's D1 banter and Aparal is making it look as convoluted as the plot in Westworld except not that interesting.

Well you have two options:

- You can vote for them anyway to teach them a lesson
- You can put up with it and try to find someone else to lynch instead.

I'm going for option 2, which I feel is more productive. But I haven't heard much of anything from you except complaining about TS's play. So which one are you going for? Show your work.

(I suppose there's also option 3:

- You can just dither and let the day time out

but I'd hope you're better than that)

Bek is probably the most supicious to me at the moment, middle road without causing any waves, but nobody else has expressed suspicions about them but I was waiting with my vote for what they will ahve to say when they come here and thought there's more time remaining

I'd still like to vote for AF but Fande's "case" on Gamelon has some points and I would like to see Gam lynched rather than Pallid although Gam has only few connections

vote Gamelon

one of the benefits of being unrolled is speaking your mind knowing that if yoh get lynched, you arent going to deprive town if a rolled player AND you got your thoughts out.

I think for day 1, the most interesting thing that stands out is still the TS and Pallid interaction.

I can see your point on BO - I've got him at the top of my 'make sure we turn over that rock tomorrow' list, as I don't really have a great read on him so far.

Crosspost

Well option 2 is the only one viable. Option one would be even shittier play than Tulas's imo, in this case that is.

And I was expecting we have a couple more hours until timeout too

I can definitely see this point of view - that case is a lot of very hot air, and feels like someone pushing out some suspicions because they feel they have to rather than because they believe it. But we're down to half an hour - not sure there's time to start a new train here. Do you have any thoughts on the candidates with multiple votes on them already? (Pallid, Gamelon, TS)

Hmm, why have you not shared that list? IF you died AND CFed town then we surely would find that useful? Now I'm wondering, did your knowledge about one of these conditions being false stopped you from sharing it?

OK, so I make that 4v3:

Pallid: Serc, Mockra, Alkend, Aparal Forge
Gamelon: Fanderay, Pallid, Hanas

Anyone else around? Otherwise we're going to struggle to get a lynch here.
