#1 Game of Thrones
#2 Rick and Morty
#3 Uh, like a few episodes of Brooklyn 9-9 and Cosmos on 'Tyson Tuesdays' at school? Seriously. Two children is exhausting. The rest of my list would just be Paw Patrol, Bubble Guppies, and assorted Treehouse shows.

Lucifer has been the first TV in years I have watched as each episode came out.
There's so much other good stuff out there I need the time to sit down and binge on. Damn this golden age of quality TV embarrassment of riches!

The great DVR implosion this year forced me to cut a bunch of shows I was keeping around but never quite getting around to watching. Gone were...
GRIMM
ORPHAN BLACK
AGENTS OF SHIELD
THE MAGICIANS
...and some others I can't even remember.
But what was left, and what I stuck with generally, were well worth the eye time...
GAME OF THRONES - Outrunning GRRM was the bestest thing that could have happened to this show.
THE EXPANSE - exceeded any expectations I had coming out of the book series.
STRANGER THINGS - I drank the slimy koolaid on this show as much as anyone else did. Totally enjoyed it.
NARCOS S1 and 2 - damn Netflix... that was some nasty good tv.
BLOODLINE - Netflix again. Made me watch a soap opera and actually enjoy it.
STAR WARS REBELS - yes, it's not CLONE WARS. Im starting to think that's a good thing.
PENNY DREADFUL. - I'm going to miss this show. Pity it went out with such a weak end to an otherwise strong season.
ARROW /FLASH - I acknowledge all the weaknesses of these shows, yet I still enjoyed them. Also, Constantine and giant sharkman.
VIKINGS - one of the best things on tv now.
MARS - rapidly becoming something I need to watch live or asap after.

I haven't watched Rick & Morty but now that you mention it I forgot to put Adventure Time on my list. Not necessarily the show's best season, but it still managed to get richer and more expansive even at this late date. I suppose I'd put it tied w/ BoJack at #10.
I don't even know why you are bothering to post until you have watched Rick and Morty. Seriously just awesome.

I have to admit, I kinda miss Sarah and Duck ...Quack! It was a soothing show to have on.

In no particular order, my favourite shows this year have been Westworld, Stranger Things, Flash/Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow/Supergirl, Game of Thrones (this was my fave season in years), The Expanse, Killjoys/Dark Matter, Orphan Black and The Magicians.

Anyone seen a lovely British comedy called Detectorists? Both sessions are up on Netflix, or at least they are in the UK. I started watching it on a whim a while back and absolutely love it! Finished the second season today, it is heart warming, quirky and at times side achingly funny.
I'd recommend and I'd love to hear what some of you think.

I do plan to watch Rick & Morty (and Steven Universe for that matter) eventually, but probably via Hulu so I'll still perpetually be a season behind.

So far, the better half and I are most impressed The Crown and The Night Of (because of the cat).
I personally liked DareDevil S2, loved the atmosphere of Luke Cage but was meh about the story.
Didn't anyone else like Netflix' Chef's Table: France? It was a great watch and on par with the international versions.

This show looks interesting but the trailer is a bit crap.
What is the premise exactly? I take it that it's a detective show where they try to solve supernatural crime (REDRUM) but... How? From the trailer I almost suspected the detective to be a ghost but he isn't. Does British dude have magical/medium powers? Is the show like Psych where the detective guy is basically a fraudster full of parlor tricks or is it more like Chuck where the guy is actually quite powerful and everything is wacky and funny? Is the show serious "MURDER IS SERIOUS" spooky at times or is it just comedy?

It's difficult to explain, you really just have to watch the show and sort of "go with the flow" of it. It's bonkers! Crazy! Det rene galskab! In a good way.
The show is comedy, but it also gets...dark and just a little bit sinister.
