Okay so what are the moranth colours as I remeber them
blue-navy fishing
green-transport only?
Black-kil things
gold-elite
silver-mentioned by quick ben once I think
any others? also if a legion is 5000 men as it seems to be and their is 5 gold legions who are elite their must be even more black silver and blue and green I presume they have soldiers two. this seems a large force so hom many moranth are their. Than again the barghast alone had 70 thousand soldiers from a population that was not much higher so maybe this is nothing special.

finally how do you see a quorl. I used to imagine something huge that holds 10 people on its own. I know have a diffrent sense when its desribed that their were hundreds, thousands with dujek army. I know suspects its only slightly larger than a horse and maybe holds three people. what do you picture?

Wouldn't surprise me that there are other colours as well within the Moranth hierarchy and what-have-you. The black were mauled at Coral though, so I should think there are numbers are greatly diminished.

Reckon a quorl holds maximum of two, as I got the impression they are nimble and quick and more weight than a couple of riders would encumber it severely.

I always saw them as big creatures that were used much like flying mules, what with all the supplies they carry. They weren't to quick and nimble when getting away from those big condor things in HoC either. But as far as I remember (haven't reread the books yet) there is no accurate description of them, so I guess it's up to our imagination for now :Erm:

Green - scouts
Black - infantry
Blue - navy
Silver and Gold - elite infantry
Quorl - really, really big dragonflies.

Both Green and Black used Quorls in GotM.
Black infantry legions marched on Pale at the outset of GotM, but only a few Black squadrons of Quorl were around at Coral to get busted up by the demon-vulures.

- Abyss, won't make a 'Sectaurs' reference.

They probably look like Manticores from Suikoiden 3.

From Parans description in GotM I always thought of them as looking like giant dragonflies.
