'Waaah, Loki didn't choose something I personally know.'

Seriously, how do you people ever read a new book or listen to a new song? Or you know, do anything you haven't already done before?

I don't think that's the complaint Loki.

It's throwing out stuff that no one else but you has ever heard of.

Trawling Google for something you've never heard of to draw, let alone guess is not fun for me.

Fun for me is being given something I know, but trying to figure out a way to draw it.
Or trying to figure out something well-known own from shite drawi get, then slapping my forehead and going DUH!! To myself when I figure it out (see your ace Def leopard clue as an example)

No smoke without fire.

So what you're saying is, I should start using popular cultural references from Eastern Europe when it's my turn?

Got it.

You mean no one else (of the handful of people active in this thread) have heard off.

It just feels like a whole heap of 'my interests and tastes are superior and all other things are shit because I don't like them'.

The challenge is in drawing what's given to you regardless of whether you know it. I haven't known half the topics in this thread but it doesn't stop me from guessing.

Not to mention that this forum is made up of people from multiple countries, not just english speaking Western countries. Everytime a foreign/non-english film or book has been given people have pissed and moaned about it. If you only want popular, modern Western-centric topics then perhaps state that in the OP?

Ment- that would be great, actually.

Yeah but the others bitch if you do anything that isn't a mainstream American pop reference. :D

...with at least a reasonable level of Canadian relevance, yes.

Wait wait wait... I thought trash talking other people's choices and drawings was a required part of this game. Are people actually starting to take this seriously?
If so, cease immediately.
