I'm confused what the circle actually signifies because it encompasses the lower part of north america, the carribian, Middle America and South America. Is the meaning supposed to be the America's? or is actually supposed to be the islands in the middle of the circle?

I initially thought it meant America/Americas or South America but now I think it is more to do with the Caribbean due to the ship.

I just want to note that I don't have any clue who sings that song as I have never heard of it. I just guessed at the pictures.
