Yeah, this totally isn't about getting me lynched is it Blend? :p

Love the concept though!

Oh no, the game I have planned as a revenge against you is much more KILL KHELL-centric.... But that will have to wait for another day.

I've actually been sitting on this one for a few games now, just trying to find a good time to throw it in, and after this last game, I thought it was appropriate! :)

Would that be the one where everyone CFs as Khell but you've got to kill the *right* Khell?

Also,

Everyone gets to write a murder khell scene night zero
The town then votes for a winning entry day one, all entries are anonymous
Thst person becomes the killer, and can pick their partner.
Khell then dies night one. Game starts properly day two.

Oh god I love this idea

Was that my favourite role ever? Quite possibly. Solo victory with everyone against me, almost being wiped out multiple times and every time managing to talk my way out of it, kicking everyone's asses whilst rocking four or five different alts. Rashy and Tiammy 4 ever!!

Although I do also have fond memories of that D'rek game where a solo VC was unlocked in the middle of the game, I betrayed comfortably-winning town and went for it and snatched the solo victory - the hate was soooo strong after that :)

No, scratch all that, my fondest moments are probably those ones when I royally fuck up and take everyone in my team down with me in a glorious bonfire of can't-watch-this disaster.

In conclusion, I have no idea what any of you would have anything against me. Don't you remember how I just single-handedly won the previous game for town with no help whatsoever? Because that's how I remember it.

I think my greatest success was winning the first faction game we had on these boards. It was a re-run of the Culture game, and me as leader and Mocker as my poisoner kicked ass.

But I get teh best fuzzies thinking about that last Rot3K game.

I survived comma-gate, went on to make a super-case accusing JA and Khell of railroading the thread, got JA lynched, and then basked in power on-thread for days, as the undisputed leader of Yan and barbarian votes. Anyone I wanted lynched died, and I had the ulimate night-time power to heal everyone avoiding all NK deaths.

I failed to win in the end, naturally, (like a proper Chinese epic my reign had to end with tragedy, with barbarians trampling over everything I've done), but it was a glorious time while it lasted.

Was that the one with the 'healing catapults'? I have hazy memories of not doing well in that game :)

Why yes, this WAS the game where you had 2 alts, fucked up on thread revealing yourself, AND did so without reading a PM saying you were recruited, AND you proceeded to shit all over your recruiter (Morgoth), painting him as a barbarian leader who had to be lynched post-haste.

I believe Morgy had some choice words for you after.

If I have one complaint it's the weak to nonexistent flavour around these parts.
I should copy and paste here some of the lynches and NKs I've authored elsewhere. Show you folks how it's done. :)

Flavour is sometimes massive in these parts.

sometimes not.

I burned my flavour glands out years ago with RAF here and mafia games on the GL and scum.
The only real flavour game I did here was drunk mafia. and it was flavoursome.
with animated gif death scenes.

now that my friend, that was flavour.

sigh, if only I could find those gifs..

Well, I wasn't pointing at you specifically, Macros, just the lack of local flavour in general. Yes, I too like to employ animated gifs and pics.

What i like the most about writing flavour is the fact that it's almost always written on the fly. Very rarely in advance. So when (I think) it's good, it's that much more impressive (to me). :)

If you dig back far enough, you'll definitely find some games that are high in flavour (the ones that immediately come to mind are D'rek's Espers game, Shinrei's Sengoku games, or any of Tapper's super complex games). I used to try to do a bit more in terms of flavour, but it's just time consuming, and I'm usually resolving at the beginning of my work day, or close to my bed time, so my mind's not ready for the amount of time and effort it would take to make sentences make sense. Plus I mod probably a little more than half the games these days, so there's only so much flavour one can realistically be expected to create!

I write way too much flavour when I mod. My poor co-mods are sometimes lost, because they don't know the tone I'm going for.

It's just that I don't mod often.
