Also KoD, I think I'm speaking for everyone when I say you're always welcome to mod a game or two of yours if you fancy, there seems to be never enough of mods here, and usually Blend has to stand up for the task when nobody has a juicy game ready and we're playing something more basic.

What's the greatest number of players you've had in a game here? I was looking for some of my old games I thought could be imported here. Unfortunately, the forum proper has been purged, but all the role descriptions still exist in my PM cache. I had a couple games with 40 players.

Some of those role descriptions cracked me up. The TMDI of those heavily populated games was through the roof!

Also: What does FTFY mean? I saw it used once or twice but couldn't find it in the glossary.

I think the greatest number of players past the last year was around 20(1st and 2nd D&D(127, 131) and Sengoku 6(130) games I think).

I can probably play.

I know the Masquerade game was like 22 players at least. I think the last Rot3K game HD over 20 too.

My other big one was the warhammer 40k, but I think we capped that @ 19.

40 is not feasible with Malaz mafia. I think GeneralKing had a design for a War of the Rings gme that was like 50 roles, but that never went anywhere because at our best we had about 30 active players at once. An Modcrafyt had less than 10 to add to that.

I think with the (usually) active posting style and deadlines here massive games are unfeasable. 25/30+ woukd require a more sedate play with week/day weekend/night resolves.
It would be a nightmare too try and read back overa players posts by day 7 without a proper post isolation feature etc.
Plus we simply dont have the player base.
I've played in and run some really big gsmes elsewhere and its incrediably easy for people to coast through a few days with posting basically nothing and very hard to keep everyone motivated when a game stretches to a month in length.

God I loved that game. So much crazy but it just worked. And just when I thought I had things well in hand...Resetting the matrix. Was that Ment being lynched? Amazing. And so right that in the end after everything there was just a single winner instead of a faction. Another SK victory in fact.
