first Keycon teaser, from SE's lips: "you can go on there and tell them that Banaschar is not Tayschrenn...I did it once, I'm not going to do it again (referring to Tayschrenn masquerading as Artanthos in MoI)" also...Rake knew it was him the whole time Posted Image

Felisin Paran completed Call to Shadow, which was begun by her mother. It was mentioned in HoC.

No issues with the timeline????
I think 22 makes sense - if you then advance the other timelimes over the same time period .
It gives Adjunct Lorn time to have grown up from being a girl in the Mouse quarter, it makes more sense of the ages of Fiddler etc. It gives Trull Sengar time to hang around on chained to a wall, adds a few more years to Karsa.. lol... I could go on.

You have me there...I thought about the age stuff...but there's so much to think about*wails*...but if 22nd is correct...Hood's Ball's couldn't the man have corrected himself earlier...*Argh* I refuse to bother myself with the timeline! lol I wasn't even thinking about it until whoever in Hood's name brought it up lolPosted Image

Do you know what... I don't think I wanted to read the prologue... I mean, with the other books, I had the next one ready to start right away, but now I have to wait a few months, with only a few pages to cling onto... *weeps*

We all Scream

I'm not convinced we've seen the last of Felesin Paran.Cotillionsays to Cotter @When she.....died',and the pause there gave me,well, pause.
Also, didn't Heboric tell her in the ruined city that there would be 'Benefits' from eating the fruit or drinking the water or somesuch?
Maybe she hasn't finished the poem....yet.

I actually think 22 feels better than 10. There is so much that happened before “the story” started (Pale) and this timeframe feels less hasted and better in all ways if, as I understand it, the additional time takes place before Pale.

Timeline Problem solvedPosted Image...kinda
It has been 22years since Laseen's rule. Read the first poem "Call to Shadow" by Felisin in Gardens of the Moon. It's about the Emporer deing and what not. The date it was written was Burns Sleep 1146. so basically just subtract 8years from the date on the Prolouge heading of 1154 and you get the events taking place in the year 1146. Add 22 years, and we should now be in the year 1168 and not 1164 and just fastword the dates in GotM after the prol. by 2 to adjust for that.

What? The characters fit Posted Image.

Mmhhh. What else can we fit into this pattern?

Osric's thrall (why not?)
Calot's warren (ok, stretching it ...)
K'rul's master (a * can be a ', yes?)
Brood's hammer (stranger things have happened)
Karsa's defeat (*shrug*)
Pearl's barber (only half an hour by warren and he's sooo skilled!)
Surly's father (makes for interesting implications)
Tiste's Liosan (Heh, heh)
Spite's dinner (who knows the taste of dragons?)
Irake's cohort (as in Anomander Irake, one of the many spellings of that illustrious character's name)
Light's nimbus (layers of meaning there)
Chaos's family (everyone needs relatives)

Well, that's enough for 2.30 am ... Posted Image

The bluerose on the Letheri continent were in the southern part, somewhere in the book (i think from seren) it says there in the east as well.
He cant be seven cities native as well if he is desribed as being from another continent, thus his black skin must come from some other reason, such as bluerose. We know Lether is long way from anything else we've read about since no knows anything about it in the other four books.

In the glossary of MT it also says the Onyx wizards are bluerose or something like that.

He his described as having onyx skin.

And the curled scarification on his cheeks looked martial, as did the skein of blade-cuts puckering his hands and forearms. He was known as a man of few words and virtually no opinions

Okay after reading just tidbits of MT last night, I personally reckon there is a very strong possibility of this guy being a Bluerose Tiste Andii.
