While we're on the subject of Bloodeye, I'm gonna ask whether anyone knows anything more about the god that was created to kill him? I think i read that it was Kilmandaross, and that she was female. I might be wrong and if I am I'd like to be corrected and further enlightened

I think the quickest answer is *no*
She is listed on the Draconean family tree.. but then if she is the child of the Eleint and the Elder Gods she would be...
"The Elder Gods loosed the blood in their veins. The dragons spawned a child of indescribable terror."
Kilmandaros comes from beyond the rent - that means from chaos.
I'll not go into my loony theory about Kilmandaros = the otataral dragon
you can read the crazy theories thread in the bonehunters forum for that:D

I must say I was surprised that Fear leaves Rhulad, and not only that, but he leaves with so much doubt in his heart.
By the end of Midnight Tides Fear seemed to be totally driven from his brother, unable to follow him any longer. Anyone have some thoughts on this?
Oh by the way sorry if this has been discussed before.

Apologies not needed my friend
I think that at this point Fear was being manipulated by The Errant (Turudal Brizad) for two reasons; throughout Book 4 The Errant hints at his ability to do this, second, Fear realises this as he finds his way to Seren Pedac's house having never been there before. Trull is fully aware and tells Fear this but Fear, while aware also, is also unable to do otherwise.
It is also suggested that The Errant uses his ability to force Brys Beddict to drink the poisoned wine. Trull, given his strength of will and intelligence is not manipulated by The Errant. Trull has also realised that Rhulad is being horribly used (but he does not know by whom) which is why he choses to stay to try and help Rhulad. He clearly loves his brother and there is irony that while he scolded the pre-Emperor Rhulad and voiced his doubts to Fear (who accuses Trull of treason) it is Fear that leaves and Trull that stays by Rhulad's side.
I do not think Fear is present at Trull's outcasting since he is on a path to (hopefully) defeating the The Chained One. Trull, while on a different path surely hopes to achieve the same. I expect Trull, Fear and Rhulad to be re-united at some point but undoubtedly the result will be more pain and tragedy.
How does Erikson sleep at nights?
