OK so I'm going to start taking the anti-crazy pill on Sunday. The thing about the anti-crazy pill is that I get a bit lethargic and relatively uninterested in things, at least by the standards of those who know me as I am now and have been all of my life apart from brief flirtations with the anti-crazy pill in the past. So I need you lot to challenge me, give me everything you've got. Those of you whom I've offended and you still seethe about it privately, well I'll be in a weakened state, you might win one. Those of you who maintain some affection for me, throw me some support if you can be bothered. Those of you who have some peripheral contact with me and are curious, ask some questions. It's an experiment. Kickoff is 9pm PST on Sunday. Any contributions prior to that point will be subject to the full weight of my madness :rtfm: Cheers

I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I'm not really going to fight you, that's much more fun when we're in the same room drinking beer, but I would like to hear what you've been doing with the new garden.

That is heresy.

No it's not a sandwich, because the bread is one whole enveloping bun. If it had been split, then yes, it would be a sandwich.

What the fuck.
It is definitely a sandwich. You have meet inside bread. That's the most stereotypical sandwich thing possible.

No. For sandwich you need two slices of bread. For a hotdog you use a bread roll (Is this really the right word? Sounds somehow wrong)

What difference does the number of slices make?

What if you have a small hotdog sausage and you roll a single slice of bread around it?
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

The difference is that you don't use slices of bread

Picture 1: Slices of Bread
Picture 2: Bread roles (sounds still strange. We call it Brötchen, Weck, Weckle, Semmel, Schrippe,...)

Which one would you choose to get to picture 3? :rtfm:

Maybe something new. Try it out. If you manage to roll the slice without breaking it patent it and call it a Gorefest :rtfm:

But you cut the bun in half effectively creating two slices of roll...

Okay, that may be a Germany-only thing, but for me two slices of bread with meat/cheese/etc in between are a sandwich/Belegtes Brot. Slicing a bun/Brötchen into two results in a Belegtes Brötchen. Maybe you call this a sandwich as well, but here those two things are something different. :rtfm:

Looks like an emergency solution :rtfm:

And I guess I have hijacked the thread. Sorry Mal.

We don't want Mal to bring down the cunthammer, best get it back on track...

Here is a question for you to chew on, Mal.

Is civilisation doomed or can it be turned around and if so... how?

Good luck Mal. I also want to hear about that awesome garden.

Maybe take the dogs for a long walk between now and pill time and have a good howl at the heavens. After that being boring and pottering around through life for a bit is no bad thing! Or if it is then don't tell me because I've been a champion potterer for some time now.

This hot dog sandwich question is important, but there are more pressing concerns

Can we all agree that, in spite of its' name, Cheesecake is a pie, not a cake?
Tatts early in SH game: Hmm, so if I'm liberal I should have voted Nein to make sure I'm president? I'm not that selfish

Tatts later in SAME game: I'm going to be a corrupt official. I have turned from my liberal ways, and now will vote against the pesky liberals. Viva la Fascism.
When Venge's turn comes, he will get a yes from Mess, Dolmen, Nevyn and Venge but a no from the 3 fascists and me. **** with my Government, and i'll **** with yours

How does that even remotely resemble a pie?! A pie has to be baked, surely?!

More important than that dilemma is why are Jaffa cakes called cakes when they are a biscuit...
