But my favs are the Red Blades, the Most Loyal Servants of the Empire !
Only they aren't mercenaries....
And one by one the gardens died

The Grey Swords - Itkovian is a simply amazing character, and it's also a more interesting and original idea than any of the other mercenary companies - and we've seen the most of this one.

of course, nobody compares to the Black Company anyway :)

I'm going to have to go with the Mott Irregulars. There is just something about a bunch of hillbillies sticking it to the most respected company in the Malazan army that you've got to love. Plus I would really like to see someone run into the feared Bole sister.

Putting the resident thread necromancer to shame once again I see.

I voted other. I like the Crimson Guard on that list but if I could add another choice I would pick the Seguleh. Those guys are one man armies and awesome to read about.

With the exception of Iron Bars, the Crimson Guard can all go to Hood.
What is not forbidden is mandatory.
