I'd forgotten I'd even ordered this but it arrives conveniently before I'm about to go on holiday.

Let me be the first to speculate that the skull on the cover belongs to none other than Grizzin Farl.

I've heard Nefarias Bredd was paid 50,000,000 USD for a cameo in The Fiends of Nightmaria

I'm going to have to start ordering both versions - I'm waiting on the slipcased one

(I actually saw the post and had to do a hurried check through old emails to see that I had actually ordered it...)

Finished this yesterday. Classic Erikson having fun... More Lees of laughter end than cracked pot trail. Enjoyed it on the whole solid 8 out of 10.

Anyone order from Subterranean Press and received their copy of the Limited Edition?

Edit: Got a response from subpress and I guess they've only received the Trade edition as of now.

Got my copy on Friday, finished it yesterday. Some nice throwbacks to earlier (mis-)adventures and quite a few good laughs but some things *almost* taken a bit too far...

I realise and appreciate that it's a parody of a parody of a parody, but stuff like the over eager demon and the characteristics of the Party of five, hmmm... - Captain Hadrian has much more freshness to him nowadays. ;)

As an avid fan I'd like to order this novella as well. However, nowhere can I even find mention of the book. Googling 'fiends of nightmaria steven erikson' does not give any positive results. Can anyone help securing a copy?

Kind regards!

Amazon.de still had them in stock in december, but they're now they're unavailable there too. Last time I noticed they restocked was at the start of december so perhaps they will restock some time soon. And there appear to be two copies available on ebay.

That being said I got this for Christmas and I love the 10 or so illustrations I've looked at so far, will see the rest as I'll be reading it once I get to it

To stay in tune with the topic title: It's arrived!

Thank you for your suggestion, Khazduk!

Finished this today. This was the silliest B&KB story yet!

Finally got around to reading this one. It's my least favourite of these books so far. The art inside is really bad too and the book would be better without it. After the disappointment of Fall of Light and now this, I really hope the Toblakai book is good.
