Just home.
Sat like a wanker through the whole credits. No post credit scene.
Overall a pretty solid superhero flick.
Gal Gadot is awesome as WW and really fills out as a character as the film progresses.
Definitely DCs best offering yet on the new assembled universe

There are some After Credits sites you can log onto to check if there's post Credits scenes. It's what I use to check each time to see if I'm wasting my time waiting for one.
Here is the site I use and keep bookmarked on my phone.

I had fun. Not as good as the hype led me to believe though.

This bothered me. Also the time when after inventing something, the chief scientist looked at the camera and said something along the lines of 'If it's what I think, it's going to be terrible'
I agree the science is terrible

On the whole entertaining, but not incredible. Just try not to think too hard about plot.

I LOVED this. It was a "straight off a comic book page" type of grave pronouncement.

Really? I'd been really enjoying the film up until then, that line actively broke my immersion and made me groan.
The first half of the film was definitely the stronger half, Diana's growth and the fish out of water comedy as she arrived in the modern world were very entertaining.

So I just saw this, with the ever-awesome Shiara and Lucifer's Heaven.
It was hands down the best DC universe movie yet. Largely, in my opinion, because they finally figured out how to write a normal plot arc and not try and smash six different films together, or rewrite an already done plot. >.>
But it had plenty of flaws. It certainly wasn't the be-all, end-all feminist movie that some have portrayed it as (not that I was expecting that, mind), but it was a huge step in the right direction there. Its success alone is hopefully a gamechanger in terms of the viability of women as main protagonists, especially coming from a genre like superhero movies.
It was also a much better "origin story" example than most others. In that it actually had a slow burn, character development, and moment of realization that didn't all come within 30 seconds of each other (even if said realization was a tad disappointing given how it went down).
But yeah, it was a solid movie. Not amazing, but solid.

Finally saw it, haven't read the post-release thread yet. I liked it. I guess it's a backhanded compliment to say it was, by far, the best of the DCEU movies, but it really was. Its biggest flaws were an over-reliance on slow-mo (naturally, given Snyder's taint on the whole franchise) and inconsistent dialogue quality. Not every hero movie has to be Wedon-level snappy but some of this was so on the nose or even drab that it was disappointing. I did like that the humor was largely low key and dry, not going for belly laughs so much as grins and chuckles. Visually it looked great. Every moment on the island was wonderful. I kinda wish there were a few more wow moments in the last third. Like it retained my attention for sure, but it wasn't something I had never seen before action-wise. Chris Pine was hit and miss for me, but that could have been the writing. The supporting cast was packed full of ringers, so the big question was whether Gal Godot would pull it off, and she did big time. She conveyed all of the important emotional moments through a properly stoic filter, and has incredible screen presence.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I really enjoyed it. So much more simple and unburdened than BvS. Gal Gadot (who was, incidentally, the best part OF BvS) was outstanding and props go to Lucy Davis as Etta Candy.
Reading through this thread I get what some people are saying about the flaws of it but it was very easy to forgive them for a compelling and exciting film.

Just got back from seeing this. I think I had this so overhyped in my own mind (seeing mostly very positive reviews here and hearing that most other reviews were very positive also) that it could not possibly live up to it. So I am perhaps slightly disappointed as to the overall movie.
That being said, Gal Gadot as WW is just spectacular, imo. I already thought this from her appearance in B vs S but she confirmed it in spades in this movie. She portrayed everything you would expect her character to feel in this new, foreign world she comes to. I absolutely love her!
One question I have, having never read a single WW comic. I was a little surprised at her ability to not-quite-fly-but-jump-extremely-far/high-and-hover-for-extended-periods-of-time. Is that an accurate portrayal of her powers from the original source(s)?
Overall its a very good movie that I will gladly watch many times in the future. I would (and will) buy the blu ray and that is big litmus test for me. I will probably have no problem watching any future movie WW is included in going forward. Though perhaps not in the theater every time.

What? If I never see Lucy Davis, is it, in another film it wont have happened soon enough. She plays the same cahracter in every role and I hate that character!

As a huge fan of the Office I love her and think she is ace. She nailed that character for me though I'm also not massively au fait with the WW universe or lore so I can't say if that character is like that (for all I know Etta could be completely made up for the film...)

I really enjoyed WW. Went on opening night dressed as WW (it was a dare, best not to ask - the point is I won!) - yes there are flaws but when overall the film is that entertaining I can forgive them. Gal Gadot is superb, and David Thewlis was also pretty awesome.

I love David Thewlis, but he's so iconic-ly Prof. Lupin now to me that I can't unsee/unhear him as that character in anything else.
I kept expecting him to say to Wonder Woman "Here, have some chocolate, it will help."
LMAO!

I felt that Themyscira wasn't as convincing as Valhalla from Thor in a similar concept, although the actual amazons were awesome, especially Robin Wright's Antiope (and a nice little very suitable cameo from the legendaryAnn Wolfe).
Cracking film overall, though. Every character was well written and acted and had their place, and the action was fantastic (apart from the aforementioned CGI smackdown, which was alright I guess).
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.
