So I've looked back at AF, and his scrambling today and the case on Shadow are standing out. I don't know that I would have gone with Merrid's case alone, but I think AF slipped.

I agree. I think he is claiming guard. I think his Merrid's case has some merit. Not only because of his case, but also because AF brought up the zombie so seriously. We all people love to talk about their own roles.

Okay, looks like my theory had some flaws. That is why I asked.

Currently I can't bring up anything to get the lynch in a new direction.

I'm also not sure why everyone is thinking I would talk about my own role? Has anyone ever done this in the last games? Because you are wrong. At least it won't be that much damage.

Here, finally. Tired as fuck, but I'll try to catch up and put some thoughts down.

ok< did a quick re-read of what AF's been posting. Basic impression: he's being a bit of a headless chicken. He's also one of my "I'm not sure about this guy" list and so I don't have many qualms about lynching him.

my thoughts in order:

1) There was no kill. this means either healer or guard were successful, a killer withdrew, or a zombie happened. I'm throwing out the esoterics like "killer forgot to put in a prov", because we can't hope to be this lucky.

2) If a zombie happened, I hope to God PS would mention something . Otherwise, in a situation where the CF dies and then a zombie happens, the town might lose not even knowing there WAS a cult. So I'mma assume there's no zombipocalypse yet.

3) Killer withdholding is a perfectly sensible move if they want to force the town guard to reveal themselves. Ofc trying to guess if it actually happened is pure WIFOM, and guard shouldn't reveal anything at this point.

4) Merrid claimed CF (kinda) and no one is contradicting. So we gotta roll with that for now. this takes 2 people out of the suspect pool (Shadow and Merrid- both uncontested semi-reveals). Shadow is saying he can VPI me. If I understand the set-up correctly, there should be one more person he'd be reluctant to lynch. That's big numbers.

At this point with AF @ L-1, it's hard not to lynch him. there's also a possibility that he got zombie last night, and that's why he's saying don't look for the cult, focus on the killer. Which is dumb, btw- because in a scenario like this, a recruiter is a WAY bigger danger than a lone killer.

Togg and Ano are two other question marks I have. but I'm totally ok with lynching AF. Ano and OE have not been on since Merrid semi-revealed CF, that's the only thing holding me from voting now- I'd like to hear if they'd counter or not.

Merrid's semi-reveal exasperates me as its ridiculous for a roled player to play the game that he has. He could get lynched simply for being annoying.

Somebody mentioned Shadow was Healer. Where exactly was that revealed/argued/established?

Ok so I worked out the Shadow semi-reveal,

Taking that as true, and assuming Merrid is being honest, it takes Shadow, Merrid, Dem and me out of the scum equation.

Leaving KF, AF, Togg and Ano.

I have nothing on KF or Ano.

AF is pretty suspicious, and Togg has been bothering me.

I will most likely not be online by the time day is up, yet I don't want to hammer as the zombie mechanic cannot be entirely ruled out.

I have to be off soon. Need to think a bit and maybe vote before that

Given standard activity times and rates, it is highly unlikely that another viable alternative is going to appear. And a lynchless day helps scum and (if activated) the zombie.

Wrong bucko. Avoiding lynches is easy when you need to. Avoiding getting targeted for a kill on the other hand - well, you have to give the scum some motivation to keep you round, like being annoying and 'useless'
