What is bugging me is the sheer lack of posting. I realise I'm part of this problem too. From that we can't really get a grip on interactions and therefore faction lines. Why so quiet you normally noisy types?

Dem's identity was not surprising to me. His CF however, was unexpected. I was pretty sure we would see something that would indicate he wasn't a student at Sunnydale.

The second night in a row with no NK is really interesting. I have two theories regarding why we haven't had any NK's so far. The first probable thing that comes to my mind is that some sort of behind the scenes shit with a guard is going on, and in that case speculating about the no NK on thread is useless.

The second option I see is that we can't trust the CFs, and Anomandaris may have been the sole killer in the game. I admit though that I find this highly unlikely. Because both of those two conditions would scream "terrible game design".

I don't see Vengy playing solo killer like that on Day 1. Given he's got limited time RL, I doubt he'd RP like that (yes, posting walls of lyrics is RP for Venge. This is the guy who posts "100 bottles of beer on the wall" in one massive post for fun) if he was anything but RI (presuming all Sunnydale students except Buffy got no special powers, they are "roleless" in my book)

Talking about guards/healers/BPs and other possible nightly shenanigans is just about totally useless, b/c there's no night scenes to look for clues in.

This post from PS indicates the existence of a Vampire. I don't see any reference to a recruit mechanic though.

I have issues with this statement because I can't remember PS ever mentioning the existence of one single recruiter in the game. You saying "my money is on this being our recruiter" makes me suspect you have more knowledge than the rest of us about the recruit mechanic.

If there is a post in thread or out of thread that mentions the game's mechanics more in depth I have missed it, and would love a quote or a link to it.

I agree with both the points you make. I still think we need to have some idea about how the game is working before doing the third lynch. So, we at least need to reach a consensus regarding the factions in game that we know.

Students at Sunnydale ~ probably the largest faction, roles???
Vampire ~ we know there is at least one, Togg called him "our recruiter"
Demons ~Speculation, don't know if they exist in game
Forces of darkness ~ see above

That's not a lot of information. And that is most certainly not the whole picture. You can't have a game with 1 killer/recruiter/whatever and 13 people in the other team and call it balanced. (or a faction game for that matter)
