So I'm about 900 or so pages into Toll the Hounds - just for a spoiler reference, I've never actually come into this section of the forum before in case of spoilers - and I have just read the scene where Iskaral meets Fisher in the street and talks to himself/Fisher about Sordiko Qualms arse. And I was struck by a sudden need to ask this question of you Malazites. If the Malazan world was ever adapted to any sort of screen, who on earth could you see playing Iskaral well enough for it to be worth it? I'm sure there have been endless 'who could play such and such' threads over the years this forum has been around, nonetheless I do feel Iskaral as a character would present particular challenges to play convincingly, amongst the insanely huge cast list.

I've literally no idea myself, he just seems exceedingly difficult to cast. I've always imagined him looking sorta like a wizened old version of the evil Aztec priest in The Road to El Dorado animated film lol

Melvin Williams
Tatts early in SH game: Hmm, so if I'm liberal I should have voted Nein to make sure I'm president? I'm not that selfish

Tatts later in SAME game: I'm going to be a corrupt official. I have turned from my liberal ways, and now will vote against the pesky liberals. Viva la Fascism.
When Venge's turn comes, he will get a yes from Mess, Dolmen, Nevyn and Venge but a no from the 3 fascists and me. **** with my Government, and i'll **** with yours

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.
