That, or at the least have the decency to be bad enough to secure a top four pick. As much as the(y/ D) sucked, they still managed to let 11 get in before them.

If the Broncos defense can continue to play the way they did all of last year, Tiste could start at QB for them and they'd still be the favorite.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. I will personally ruin the Broncos despite their amazing defence!

Since the Bears are gonna suck again this season (barring some form of miracle), I have to try and find hopeful things elsewhere in the league.

I'm really hoping that Jarryd Hayne will make the breakthrough for the 49ers. I know there was a lot of hype, and he made mistakes in a few games, but i think he was badly let down by the coach and the clusterfck that was their offense last year. It really would be a huge deal to have an athlete come in from a different sport so late and succeed. And I tip my hat to him for trying it at the very least (and not giving up when the money is better for him to return to the NRL).

My only other hope for the season is for Pete Carroll to suffer through an underwhelming season again. Preferably via something like a deflategate situation. I'm conflicted since I admire what Russell Wilson has done, but I find Pete Carroll to be an insufferable douchebag and can only wish failure on him. (This mostly stems from his time at USC and all the violations during their glory years, and then to jump ship as soon as punishments are actually handed out, while leaving the new students you had recruited stuck in a limbo not of their making).

I know I'm a bitter person, so I need to find joy wherever I can :nuke:

I wouldn't mind seeing Drew Brees have another great run, but i can't see it happening.

For the first time in as long as i can remember, I can honestly say, I LOVE the Bears draft so far.

Ryan Pace is straight killing it.

Probably because he's from EIU!

Obviously feels they are weak at Free Safety he's only drafted 3 of them.

Funny moment on screen when Rich Eisen and company completely lost it during the 4th round, trying to reflect on the Vikings earlier choice of tackle Willie Beavers 121st overall the Bears selection of Deon Bush came through on screen much snigering ensued with Eisen forced to call for an advert break. Upon their return Eisen quipped if the next selection is " Johnson " i'm leaving ....... ooooh matron ...... what smut. Loved it.

Yeah, that was pretty fantastic.

And 2 of those are just projected as Safeties. They played Corner in college.

Its like my grandma used to say, you can never have enough quality DB's.

Aaron Rodgers with a healthy offense again, and a defense that has only been on the rise? Just sit back and R-E-L-A-X as the Packers win another Lombardi.

Ugh. The selection of Charles Tapper will mean I have to add the Cowboys to teams I have sympathy for, for obvious reasons. I mean, I like watching them anyway - primarily because of schadenfreude, but then. there always seems to be happening something when you put Romo, Bryant and that monstrous O-line on the field, but rooting for Jerry Jones' team feels so, so wrong.

I agree with you up until week 13 when they reach their critical mass in injuries.

Personally, unless the duct tape holding Carson Palmer together gives way, I see the Cardinals as the team to beat for SB 51.

Yeah, we always seem to get more than our fair share of injuries.

Thing is, Palmer is gonna need to play better than he did in the playoffs. Aside from Fitzgerald heroics, he played pretty stinky against the Packers, and then against the Panthers.

Well, a team is more than the QB - Palmer will need to do better during the play-offs, but he was a monster during the regular season.

I'm rooting for the Cards.

I have been a fan of the card since the 90s...I had season tickets even back to ASU stadium days..sunside too.

Anyhow. I have been a fan for a very very long time.

I want them to do good. But Palmer looked like this in the preseason. The weapons are there for a good shot at it. But you need Palmer to throw like he did last year and not be made of glass.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Yeah not often you see the iced time out actually work anymore. Kind of surprising Gano is usually so money.
