Please expect the Opening Scene within the next 24 hours.

I will allow a little extra time for potential sign-ups, and because the first phase of the game is 2 Day/Night cycles, the game will likely start on Wednesday morning, Japan time. (Which would be Tuesday Night for Americans and the wee hours of the morning for European timezones).

Game Specific Rules

READ THESE CAREFULLY

1) Revealing your faction or your character name is strictly not allowed.

2) You may reveal or false reveal whatever you wish in terms of your role's ability/abilities or lack thereof.

3) Every single player/character in this game is lynchable. Just not all of the time. There are no lynch proofs per se, merely conditions under which a certain player or players cannot be lynched. No, I will not tell you what these are.

The game consists of 2 phases beyond the regular Day/Night phase.

The first 2 Day&Night cycles are the "Pre-Battle" phase.

From Day 3, the game moves into the "Battle" phase.

After every 3rd Battle Day there is a lull in the battle, where attacks will break off and combatants will regroup. (So, Day 6, Day 10, Day 14 etc).

Some player abilities can and will change from one phase to the next.

Toshiyoru slammed his fist on the table. The innkeeper quickened his pace and set the steaming tea on the rough board between the two lounging messengers. Their armor was mud splattered and the threads holding the plates together looked to be unchanged, having seen their share of battle. It was obvious, even to the slightly obtuse innkeeper that these two men were supposed to be somewhere, probably yesterday. But here they were lolling about his inn, frightening other customers. He didn’t know if they were Echigo or Takeda men, their roiling centipede banner was unknown to him. But he knew enough to understand that something was brewing.

Uji smiled and bowed obsequiously and backed away from the table as the men continued to speak in rough tones. War or no, politics had naught to do with his poor old inn.

It is October, 1561. The Lord of Echigo, Uesugi Kenshin has been threatening the Takeda Clan’s forces at Kaizu, Takeda’s forward position to the North. In response, Takeda Shingen, the Lord of Kai province has moved a large force to push Kenshin back.
In a strategic move, based on the recommendation of his General Yamamoto Kansuke, Takeda has split his forces in an attempt to surprise Kenshin. Unfortunately for him, Kenshin has become aware of the scheme and has moved his forces to engage the main Takeda army before the other force can arrive.
This game is the story of that battle.

Days are 36 hours and Nights are Instantaneous.

The messenger rushed up to Takeda Shingen and reported on the Uesugi movements. Shingen's face was unreadable as he quickly surmised that their plan to catch Kenshin in a pincer will not succeed. With no choice but to meet the Uesugi head on, in their current disposition, their fight might turn desperate quickly.

Takeda Shingen relayed the orders for his troops to spread into battle formation and to continue their march. There would be no regrouping, it was time to meet the enemy!

It is Day 1

36 hours are left in the Day. Game on.
