In M&P I would be more inclined to agree. However, the information we'll have later is dependant on what happens now. There won't magically be more information just because it's the endgame. Sure I don't have much read on OE or Gait... or a ton of other people really -- because we've had easy hop on low-information lynches that haven't committed people much either way. If we keeping coasting through the game with easy lynches, I don't see how that improves. At some point, someone has to make something happen, and try to do something that isn't just arbitrary. If you've got a good grasp on the higher content people, why aren't you pushing someone you think isn't on your team?

I'm kind of on the fence about this at the moment. I agree with Denul in that it would make end game much better if we had players who have been active all game around rather than players who have posted once or twice a day all game.... But I very much HATE lynching low posters just for low posting because it gives us so little information.

That being said, I'm pretty confident on a couple people's factions, but for now I don't want to say anything because I'd rather keep an eye on them and see where they're going, and who they'll incriminate, and hopefully one of them will make a slip and let me know who their leader is...

So, I think I may end up going for the low posters for now.

Despite voting low posters for the reason of their low posting generally being frowned upon, I think, unless something pops up, I have to agree with it in this situation, when everyone is loath to pick on those with more prominence for fear of themselves being labeled into a certain faction. As someone already mentioned, this would be less of a problem with 3+ factions. And at least by voting the low posters it might pressure them into popping up more frequently.

With that being said, with the votes (I think) now tied, I'm going to do some reading before voting.

Those calling for a high information lynch are going to have to do something about it themselves. Make a case! Put yourself out there, no one else is going to do it for you.

Denesmet's vote of OE, and the accompanying misinformation about votes, has me twitchy. In addition, I'm starting to wonder if all these calls for high information lynches without cases are just ways of steering focus away from Gait without defending him.
