In the [digital and/or molting] flesh! I think it was right around when you got engaged that I started drifting off, with this being something you were especially looking forward to lol.

So, a bit late on this, but... how's married life? And Brood isn't still around somewhere, is he?

Yes, in fact that was the video I posted in that thread IIRC.

Married life is great, it gets better all the time! And Brood is around cos I meet up with him fairly regularly but he's not on here as much.

What about you? As far as I recall, all the Canadians on the board were all scared that you might be heir Doctor or something... There were also rumours that you, Abyss and Darkwatch were all the same person but the dominant personality was slowly killing off the other two...

Haha, it was indeed something you posted, and while again a few months late on this now (counting it as an improvement upon years though!), glad to hear married life is going well and that Brood is still... brooding, whether it be here or otherwise! But honestly, how accurately does this describe what your first year of marriage was like?

And while I can neither confirm nor deny the rumours pertaining to being consumed by the dark[watch] of the abyss, I can at the very least least allay any fears and assure the general public that, and while this shouldn't not be taken as confirmation of not necessarily not being a doctor, or, conversely, being a practicing medical professional (as to any questions surrounding licensing, I'd direct you to my previous statements on the earlier discussed rumours of abyssal consumption), as the case may be, I can unequivocally and noncomittally state that, were I anyone's doctor, that in all likelihood they are probably, possibly receiving a degree of care that would be deemed acceptable [in certain parts of the world]. :(

I think I'm also going to need a refresher on all the name changes. I've nailed Coco down as not being Gothos so far, but that's about as far as I've got. Whilst I resent the implication of lacking greatness, Mezla probably makes a fair point...

Does we still have Brood's emo goodbye post somewhere? If it hasn't been lost to the void, you really, really need to read it!

So you can't not confirm that you're unconfirmed as a non-registered unofficial practitioner? So basically you're the guy to call if someone gets shot by their coke dealer in a dark alleyway while they're paying their launderer?

If you go to a user's profile there's an item in the left-side column to display old usernames for that account... that might help.

Then again, IIRC last time you came back it was as Marcus Aurelius and you hid it for a while, so maybe this is just karma :(

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

That only works for the name history of the current account though. If the previous account gets lost in the wilderness of forum moves, etc, then it's gone for good.
meh. Link was dead :(

So yeah just wanted to say Hi! Catching up on a lot of forum news after a year of offlineness.

And strangely, almost exactly a year later from this post, I am also sticking my head back in the door after a prolonged absence! Hello everyone, I have no idea who anyone is anymore, and I'm not sure I can remember how to "forum" ;)

I feel old and unwell.

ETA - I just noticed I first joined this board 12 years ago. 12 years!!

At least wait until we're finished emptying your bank account, maxing out your credit cards and installing the subliminal programming. We'll skip the scorching case of syphilis, just to save time.

I unthinkingly made a Toblakai/Toblerone joke last September in the Deadhouse Gates forum, forgetting that your name already did this joke (and well). When I finally realized what I'd done, I felt shame, but I did not delete my joke or acknowledge the replication, causing even more shame.

This makes me laugh inside.

Well then. Rodeo is still around I guess. Lurker king!

Yay!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
