Help
Wot is the one "founding" epic fantasy series I feel I know too much about simply from all the (non-spoiler heavy) discussions of it I've been around. I feel absolutely 0 desire to ever buy and read any of them.
As for fantasy recos: Twiligh Reign by Tom Lloyd, Paul Kearney's "Monarchies of God", Chris Wooding's "Braided Path" would be my suggestions. Also, anything and everything by Neal Stephenson.
What to read now?

Ditto for the second part; every now and then I'll come across half a dozen of the books on the clearance rack for $2, and I'll very briefly consider it, but nah. I just have way too many things I'd rather read (and reread) first.

I agree. Same goes for Garrett P.I.. I classified them as urban because they don't fit under epic. I really don't know what to call them, just "fantasy" I guess.

Any time someone actually knows what a 720c is, I feel like they're now my bro. And I can think of no one more deserving of one to the face than Faile. The others... Mmmm, more of a moderate spanking.

Considering his reading list, brooks, weddings, jordan, etc.
I'd HIGHLY recommend hitting Legend by Gemmell, if that floats your boat there's a wealth or drenai novels to dig into.
Have you read any Raymond Feist? Id class it as epic fantasy and if you were delighted with that protracted, overly drawn out painful to watch lumbering onwards travesty that was WoT, you likely wouldn't have any problems with the entire 30 books in the midkemia universe (the first, say 15, chronologically are pretty good, the later half, painfully drawn out and pointless, kind if like any scene with a woman who can channel in WoT)
Failing that, whilst its not epic fantasy, everyone should read David Gemmells 'Troy' trilogy, its just ace.
