A mall parking lot security camera shows rows of cars dimly illuminated. A number of figures can just be made out in the middle distance, loading groceries into their own cars. In the foreground a figure walks fast in a hurry to get home. The figure appears to be Fener. As the figure passes a van another form springs into view. The new presence delivers a blow to the head and a kick to the balls. The figure falls to the ground and the presence draws out what is clearly a Tazer and stuns the figure.
Unnoticed by the presence the shoppers in the distance have been alerted to this activity and are carrying out a selection of diving into their vehicles, wetting themselves, looking confused and calling the police.
The presence looks to be having trouble loading the seemingly unconscious figure into the back of the van but eventually managed and is about to climb in the drivers seat and depart when a figure steps up behind it, draws a firearm and shoots at the kidnapper. A spray of blood is visible across the interior of the windshield as a shotgun tips into them.
Immediately after this two more shots ring out and the killer of the kidnapper falls into the van, clearly dead.
A further shot is picked up in the distance.

"Oh man, this is carnage. An absolute shit-storm of bullets and bodies. And so many official Press too, there's no way I'm going to let them get any exclusives though, this is my show."
"Lets see, there's two ambulances, at least 3 squad cars, a van with "Coroner" in big letters so there must be a body. I'm sat here in the ambulance so it clearly isn't here for me, something more must have happened after I was hit"
"Blasted police asking questions like what's my name whilst looking like they already know what color underpants I'm wearing. There's a story there too I bet, I wouldn't be surprised if I have been under surveillance for some time"
"Oh dear Officers, move a little further away when you talk, you don't want the victim to hear you... That's brilliant, I can almost hear them."
Dimly the voices of two officers can be heard. They mention that officers had discharged their weapons at the scene and so far two bodies have been found in the area. They seem sure as to who he has been posing as but not asking too many questions about it.
"Now the Coroners van will be where the good news, I mean the grim details will be found, let's see if I can get closer and pick up anything from there."
There is a sustained period of motion as Fener tracks forward and back, furtively trying to get within earshot of the vehicle. Eventually he gives up with a sigh and least back on what sounds like a chainlink fence. Wanting to look less conspicuous in this pose he lights up.
'Got a light mate?'
Fener seems frozen for a moment before holding out a lighter to the unexpected presence
"Grim night huh?"
'You can say that again. Did you see the mess they were in?'
Fener shrugs
"Missed it all, I've been out of it the last hour in the bus"
'Damn, I know we were keeping an eye on you but that's taking the piss letting it get this far'
'You missed the best of it, we've managed to ID one of the Does, name is Lady Bliss but more commonly known as Togg, or so we we gather from her monogrammed wallet. Seems she was scum.'
'The other is proving a little more tricky. Best guess at the moment is the other was the Body Snatcher, that's who took you down. A fellow by the name off Bubba, ring any bells? Never mind, someone put a solid shot into him, he's well dead.'
"Damn man, that's good. You going to carry on with that coroner job?"
'It keeps life interesting'
The Coroner departs and Fener springs into motion, getting his tablet out as fast as he can.
"Dammit, server outage today of all days. I'll have to see what I can rig up in my own name.
