The fact that's bugging me is that the Wizards tried to deflect so desperately so early, in an effort including multiple players (I think) and spending multiple of conjured elementals. Wonder why they deemed that necessary on D1?
Simple. I wanted my heir dead. Looks like he'll off me first though. As leader my VC as explained to me contains the phrase "if you live". My fishing with PS led me to believe that the heirs have a secondary VC that is conditional upon them overthrowing their leaders.
Pure supposition: this is Blend setting up the next game which will be factional but mixed professions.

So you're a leader?
Who is your heir?

I go to bed and he tries a different way to get me killed.
Lets deal with some facts first:
- Gait has now admitted to being Wizard Leader
- Rule B2
Now from that and our own Role PMs we know a few things. Each of those things can have a deduction made from it:
- Gait, as a Wizard, wants every non-Wizard dead
-> Having already tried to off me through his possession of HP now his death is almost certain he seeks to spread doubt and to have people think that I, who have been rabidly anti-Wizard, am in fact the Wizard Heir, getting me lynched/NK'd and my own (different) faction weakened.
- Every non-Leader got told who the Leader is with no mention of who the Heir is
-> Shold the Wizard Heir have such a VC he's in trouble anyway. With the faction knowing only the Leader, a Heir isn't going to be able to hold much sway and is more likely to end up dead by them for offing the Leader
- As Ultama notes, they spend a lot of effort early on to deflect from Gait and to kill me.
-> You're faction Leader, you spend your actions targeting your Heir fast and not worry about the other factions. You lose a major player from your faction. You carry on attacking your "Heir." Because that approach is sure to win you the game.
- "Looks like he'll off me first though" clearly attempting to pin me as the Wizard Heir.
-> First of all this goes against Rule D2. Secondly, you are pretty certain I'm not your faction and want to set me up for death tomorrow in line with D2.
- "Post from PS"
-> Well done, you just demonstrated that at least 2 alts can ask PS to post things on thread. Shucks. There was me thinking the Wizards were at such a major disadvantage for being the only faction not to have done so already.
What he hasn't admitted to is possessing HP yet. Along with trying to pin me as a Wizard leaving this open gives us another non-Wizard line to pursue, again working in his factions favour as HP will now be constantly under doubt as to his allegiance.
You do of course raise the interesting point that we still have a Wizard Heir and two regulars to hunt down. I figure that those around to swing the lynch from you before and those that are slow to get on this one as well as the last one are prime suspects there.
I'm going to get some coffee in me and go for a quick walk.

Why are you spouting these?
Just looked at them, are you pissed off because he has revealed you?
Or are you saying he should be modkilled?

I think that he is saying that Gait is full of shit. Because attempting to kill off your heir would make it harder to for your faction to win the game. This be in direct conflict with that rule. Unfortunately that rule is based on a knowing attempt to lose the game for your faction and not on attempting to do something random and crazy that involves sacrificing a member of your team to win. See all of the scum games where a member of scum was lynched by other scum to throw town off of the scent.

Because I'm revealed? No. Because I'm not.
No, not modkill. Just if things are how he says they are that is extremely bad play on his part. Given that his play isn't bad till then you should consider that this is more of the same.
Anyway, I'm confident my faction know I'm with them so anyone spouting off like that must be the *other other* faction IYSWIM.

We all know Blend loves his twists and that his signature says "A leader who is less important than the followers is classic Blend".
He got mighty bent out of shape with me after he (or Ansible) let me twig that Togg was my heir and I put a couple of things together from our conversations. I *think* we've got a faction game within a faction game. It's Wizards vs. Rogues vs. Barbarians vs (faction heirs).

Why would you do that? I am just not tied to Gait. If he is claiming to be a leader the doh for him. Honestly even his own members should want him dead by now. The longer he stays alive the more chance that they have for being outed. You for instance are probably a wizard. Regardless of Togg saying that you are being possessed. This game is information and between you and gait and togg you guys have put more then enough out there for the rest of us to see.
