Jamaal Charles.

Then you can name your team 'Jamaal about that bass'.

(probably wouldn't be picking another WR here except for Benjamin going down. :D )

Shit, Adams is a hell of a pick. I just KNEW I was gonna be able to pick him up next. He's the best WR handcuff in the game imo.

I mean, if Antonio Brown goes down, yeah Bryant studs up, but he ain't the talent that A. Brown is. But under the Green Bay system with A. Rodgers, Adams just has to run the routes while Rodgers drops balls into his hands dead on point. He don't need the extra talent another backup in another system would.

As I'm typing this I'm kinda pissed at you now. Jk , no good grab.

Poll:

I have to choose a keeper in one of my fantasy leagues, and the choice is easily between

1) Jamaal Charles
2) Marshawn Lynch

Who would you choose to keep?

most would probably say either as it doesn't matter but I say Charles hands down

Screw it I don't have time to put together a monster provisional. I guess when my pick in a day or two comes around if it's more than 12 hours before 5 pm GMT-8 Sunday Aug 23rd then just pick the highest rated RB as I will time out before I can get to a computer to pick myself. I'm leaving my next pick with Slow Ben as a provisional so I don't hold you guys up.

Who is top ranked RB on the board?

I don't know. I use different rankings than most, and it would be up to Ben.

Top avail through my rankings is Vereen. Definitely a bit of wiggle room, and at this point it's partially personal preference, considering how many are off the board already.

IIRC, we use Yahoo rankings as the default pick.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Oh, don't get me wrong, I like the Davante Adams pick, especially this late in the rounds. But you're right, Adams will probably be too inconsistent fantasy-points-wise to start unless someone gets injured. Losing Benjamin hurts.

I know this might be probably too late to be asking but does anyone have room in another fantasy football league? Because I've only played one each year here, but I'd like to play two this year but only if I'm playing with at least one other Malazite.

Also, I believe we had people wanting to expand our league, so what's the chances we can run a second malazan league next year that includes those from the original league that would be willing to play amother malazan league, plus the ability to allow for new players to get in on the second team.

I doubt Ben would want to Commish two malazan leagues, but we have plenty of fantasy pros that could easily run the other league.

Just a thought.

Timely pick Shin.

Down goes Jordy Nelson with an ACL tear.

What! Jordy Nelson possible torn ACL. MRI soon. If so, then you just hit the lottery. If Nelson goes out for the season or even half, Adams would be worth replacing K. Benjamin easily.

I called that shit. Damn, I was about to take him if you hadn't grabbed him when you did.

Edit - didn't see HD got too it already per above.

And how horrible did the communication between Eli and ODB look in that last game. I was wary of taking ODB because of how I figured he'd just get double and triple teamed and Eli is shit with sporadic patches of brilliance .

Needless to say, I'm worried.

I wish we had more Posts about our league. I know a lot of you are too busy, but it's one of the main reasons we've had such success putting together a malazan league each year and with the same 12 teams 4 years running.

Oh,as no one responded to my asking about having a second malazan league each year, I'm guessing it's not feasible, but if we do lose anyone we should grab Grumble's grumbling, Seahawks lovin' ass up in here. Would love to kick his ass in fantasy. Shit talkers are the most fun to dominate.

Damn , Obdigore, I had John Brown picked and even posted, especially after watching that preseason game, but since I have Arizona's RB, I changed my pick last second. Now it's looking like Ellington might lose downs to CJ, and should have just figured that Ellington would get hurt anyway so should have taken John Brown anyway. He's looking studly. Yahoo's rankings can be such Bulls hit sometimes.

OUCH.

I survived my round 1 missing the entire season last year, but yeah, that's some tough luck.

Just for the record eSPN is talking about the loss of Jordy Nelson and how Adams should be able to fill that void not completely but at least good enough to keep the Packers and you know really good shape. basically that just reiterates the post I made to Shin about how it's all on Rogers. Rogers Adams is still one hell of a team and Adams actually did quite well last year as a third wide receiver so I suspect he'll put up amazing numbers
