It's totally abnormal to draft this early - I realize it was the same last year, but I'm not vigilantly checking all these threads all the time.

It takes too long to draft if we don't start this early we won't finish until the season has already started.

Okay this is getting a little uncalled for. I can empathize a bit with Shin. I'm not saying giving him a pass but the guy has every right to be legitimately pissed. But that is no reason to add salt to the wounds. I felt more than rushed in trying to get prepared for this draft. If I was in any position other than 8th I too would have likely timed out before making my pick as it just took me that long just to put together a half assed attempt at a draft list and that is with me knowing that we were going to be starting on Saturday. Last year even though we started 4 days earlier I think we all knew at least 3-4+ days in advance of the draft that it was starting so we could prepare. This year was like

"Okay. looks like we have everyone that will be playing. Draft starts tomorrow."

We started talking about doing the draft Saturday on Wednesday. Not the day before.

And i wasnt trying to be a dick, I was just pointing out that we always draft this early in the season, its the only way to get the draft done.
