I seem to remember a part in I think it was Reapers Gale? Where someone (maybe Toc?) explains that a lot of the Malazan curses are meant to be ironic. Like the say "Hood's Breath" because he's a dead god so he doesn't breath and "Beru fend" because he's a storm god and storms don't defend anything.

Well, fuck. Database restore wiped out my BAB list, and then when I tried to copy the text from a tab I had left open from yesterday, I accidentally went backwards!

Rather annoying, but shouldn't be too painful to recreate - I fold the page ears for pages that have curses, so I just need to go back and find the creased pages...

Also, despite it being removed, I did see your post about chapter numbers.
