On Capt. Hadrian's Facebook page, SE announced that there will be two new Willful Child Books.

I have to admit that I am looking forward to the future (mis)adventures of Capt. Hadrian and Tammy.

"Captain's Log. A floater! But never mind that. Announcement: Willful Child will return in two new instalments, courtesy of my friendly publisher, with delivery for the next one this October! So prepare yourselves, folks, for more adventures in the torrid depths of space, as we explore the Unexplored Zone, making it explored not unexplored, and then go yet further, into the new Unexplored Zone, exploring it, and then..."

I think I've asked this before, but if not, I'll ask here. Are we sure that this is actually Erikson who runs that page, or if he endorses it?
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

Well Erikson confirmed that there will be two more novels at the Emerald City Comic Con and it is mentioned in his Nerds of a Feather interview.

So I am fairly sure he runs the page.

They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Yes. And EXPLOSIONS. And planets, impossibly close together, including rings, stars and preferably also gas clouds and asteroids. This cover needs more asteroids. And perhaps some lens flare.

I was hoping for more statuesque ensigns fighting off two foot tall toad demons in front of a cave, tbh.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I'm just glad it's not a picture of the captain with his shirt off, like some cheesy romance novel.Posted Image
