Other = Absinthe + acid? That would be one mixture I never tried, maybe that's where I messed up.
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

I would absolutely not have the time to read the thread and mash over actions. Sorry, but I'll have to be out for this.

Board games, computer games, a major in history, a vivid imagination and not enough discipline to reign it in, hubris, a job with (some) room to make modding seem feasible and a crowd on the forum that are masochistic enough to love complicated games that are only mafia in the loosest sense of the word.

You live in Holland. There has to be some drugs in that list somewhere. :D

All Ninja edits aside, and I am not counting those players as subscribed, we are some players short, still.

If I fit into the numbers, yeah I'll play. Why not, what's the worst that could happen?

(the answer is I get sucked into it too much and fail mid-terms!)

I am conflicted over this. I want to play, but the setup is so huge and complicated, I don't even know where to start.

Like most Tapper games, it'll be pretty straightforward once we're halfway into day 1 and he's made all the necessary clarifications, as well as a detailed "diary of a courtier" example timeline to walk us through it.

If you're not sure what to do, just sanctify the desert and sacrifice a shorthorn every day.

OK I actually read a good bit of the OP. Holy shit! This is like Civilisation on steroids.

I want to play. I really do. I love turn based strategy/tactics or RTS games. But 2 issues.

1. Time: Whatever the OP says I have no idea how much time cost this will entail for me, as knowing absolutely nothing about this type of game and understanding even less, I will have to coninuously refer to the OP.

2. Level of Skill= Negative. Will probably lose spectacularly and titanic my faction in the process.

So, is it possible that I can get a role where a faction leader basically tells me what to do? Like I said I really want to play, but am too terrified and confused at the same time to just say yes.

BTW Tapper, did you specialise in Early Modern European history?

I can play if you need the numbers. Tell me if I need to submit the roles. (If I'm needed.)
