Hey guys,
I currently worked my way through 8 role PMs. I don't think I have any questions outstanding, but if I do, please bump those.
I am lacking quite a bit of information from most of those - I think in total, only 3 are fully complete.
Please remedy that.
I need a unit with a value of 5 manpower,
allocation of 10 courtiers (actually, 9, as everyone has used at the least 1 as a Messenger)
and for some of you, still the entire design of your estate.

Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Maybe somebody else has already received an answer to this question. Is the courtier assigned as an overseer of a building construction removed from the game or available for reassignment post completion?

It is returned.
None of the standard actions consume a Courtier, although Stewards cannot be recalled apart from havjng their estate conquered.

The Des Fleurs faction is in need of heirs. We have many handsome sons and beautiful daughters amongst us. There are even a couple who show promise at activities other than drinking, dancing and spending our money. Send your faction leader messengers showing your willingness to breed dynastic hostages. Alliances may hinge upon your willingness to have children with the soon to be victorious invaders.

In 24 hours and 30 minutes (12 CET), I want to finish resolution and start the clock.
That means that I will start on resolving in 22 hours, give or take (9.30 CET).
Many of you still have to complete (parts of) your initial set-up. If that's not done by 9.30 CET, I will do the following:
1. Any non-completed estate design will be set to 3-1-1, with 3 in the resource that's used for your abilities, unless you're a role with multiple resources, in which case it will be 2-2-1 with the 1 being the resource in which you're 2-cheapest ability is costed in.
2. Any non-completed role choice (aka, still no ability/unit selected to be dropped) will be completed by me: the 8 cost ability will be dropped.
3. Any non-completed starting unit will be designed in a manner of my choosing. I will do my best to build a good unit (not going to deliberately screw you over), but it might not be optimal for what you want to do and what your faction selected as a strategy. I will try and include at least 1 company that produces the resource you require for your role. For everything else, I will try and select a single primary damage type. A Courtier will be assigned to lead the unit.
4. A non-completed Courtier scheme will be completed by me. I will assign 3x Tax Collector, 3x Lobbyist, 1x Messenger to Faction Leader (or 2x Messenger to underlings), if you didn't submit a unit design then a Courtier will be assigned to that one and the remainder will be assigned as Spies, directed towards the centre of the game board.
5. I will inform the faction leader of how incomplete your set-up was and what measures I took.
I will not process any late submissions.
First of all, there's been 5 days for you to get a grasp of the rules, ask me questions and complete your designs, including at the least 4 days to talk to your faction leader, which ought to be plenty.
Secondly, if you go over the deadline, you have an unfair advantage in that you will get a full, complete update but those who submitted on time haven't seen any effects of your actions yet, and can only receive those as an update, leading to chaos (and double work for me, which will delay the game even further).

There might be a minor delay as a meeting has been set for me at 11.00, in the middle of the mod-time I had planned for myself.

The game is on.
48 hours on the clock.
12 alive, 12 have not voted.
Alts: Bek Okhan, Bendal Home, Denesmet, Denul, Karosis, Nenanda, Okaros, Olar Ethil, Omtose, Osseric, Shadow and Sorrit.
I am still working on resolution, am nearly there.
I will PM each of you in the role PM a quick summary, and send a mail with your finds and the map as you can see it, as I make such sheets for you guys anyway for modding purposes.

What would everyone like to talk about this fineish spring day? Perhaps how lost they still feel even after over a week's worth of attempts at getting to grips with the game mechanics? Can't be just me. Can it?

Oooooookay. Night 1 is resolved.
And my workday has been, more or less, dissolved. Unfortunately for you guys, i have some social obligations in the afternoon + evening, but I will send you a mail with the updated character files and a map tomorrow. Basically, when modding in the Excel, stuff is relatively easy - the problem lies in the translation to text in PMs, as the formatting doesn't hold very well.
---------------------
I have been asked what people should talk about on thread. Basically, everything you want, but faction mafia was in the old days quite an art. Fake symping is a bit hard as everyone knows by now who is in their faction (the initial mechanics would have had everyone talking only to their faction leaders for day 1 and they couldn't talk back), but at the same time, there are mechanics that will make inter-player contact important: this game does involve lynching, and one reason why sucking up to players as well as identifying who is strong and who isn't as a player, is important.
The first reason for this is the Royal Marriage: if you do one with a player of another faction, it creates a dual-aligned heir - suddenly, that faction will have no reason for trying to remove you (or at the least, they'll have no interest in killing you once your Heir becomes the Player Character, as it will share their faction).
Then, there is the obvious need to be able to gang up on a faction that's doing (too) well. If it is unclear what your alignment is, then it is equally tough to identify you with that faction. To help with that: there's no alignment finds in this game, apart from having your Spy/unit enter the estate on which the Player Character of another player is present; then you will learn their alt.
Finally, some of the stories will contain clues.

Howdy folks!
Turns out it was a good thing that the game didn't start until today, I was extremely sick last Thursday till Sunday, so didn't even touch a computer! Would have been a modkill for me if the game had already started!

Be it luck or Providence (naturally we favor the latter) the Papacy are blessed with an excellent understanding of the workings of the world.
Naturally we intend to exploit this ourselves.
We are willing to take disciples and/or heirs into our folds to educate them for the betterance of all mankind

Checking in for the 3rd (?) time
I think I've got something close to an idea of what is going on but only by relentlessly bugging PS with questions

Yeah PS must be getting completely swamped by us
I guess the vast majority of the talking in this game is being done through PMs with PS at the moment.
