Blend, Mr Tatts and I were talking. What would you think about joining our humble alliance?

We have need of mighty warriors to protect the northern frontier, and the use of your wormhole to attack IH in the backdoor.

OMG, I'd be so into that. I was really frikkin worried given you and Tatts aligning made me the next juiciest target for you to go after.

This would allow me to concentrate on that damn double-ancient hex rather than fending you off.

In short, YES YES YES YES YES YES !!!!

OK. We discussed a bit and seems to me we can let you do your shit with the double ancient this round and then next round you'll be required to assume duties as Guardian of the Galactic North.

Maybe this round, depending on how things go. Do you think you can actually beat that ancient hex this round?

Yes, absolutely - the positron computers should allow me to take them out no problem, and still have some materials with which I can defend the north this round if I need them.

A great deal for CF - protection on both his borders from his two subordinates whilst he goes off doing whatever is best for him.

Do we think he ditches them round 7 or 8?

D'rek, I'm thinking I won't attack you. You can be my buffer for if in future CF decides to come through the Galactic Centre. In return, I'll be your buffer against them coming through the warp portal.

We will see. I don't think he will as right now he was in a stronger position than both of us but now he gives us muscle and options.

I think everyone's forgetting that D'rek is 6 points clear of 2nd, and Gnaw in 2nd is 5 points clear of 3rd.

Now please leave me alone with all your ships.

The points leads are misleading at this stage, it seems to me. Twelve will eat Gnaw and CF will attempt to eat D'rek.

The warp portal you don't currently own? That's a neat trick.

What do the numbers under the alliances represent? I don't understand them.
