Well With Khell not passing I might as well make Gnaw blow his science load on a reaction build.
Move Cruiser in 211 to the southern most Supernova hex.

I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Ok, I can't tell if it's waiting on me
MOVE
cruiser from my tier 1 hex to the ancient homeworld, 1 cruiser from the hive over to the adjoining hex owned by D'rek.
Then
pass -- I'm outta moves.
EDIT -- gonna make that PROVISIONAL in that I think it should leave me at -13 upkeep. If that is true then make the move. If my upkeep is actually more negative than -13, just pass instead
Haven't had a board update in a bit...just making sure I don't bankrupt out of the stupid game again.

And after my last move I also pass. Will have to bankrupt a hex to afford things as it is.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

CF I looked at the file and as far as I can tell you should be on $9 money. So i've changed the file to reflect that.
We are on Khell, then CF, twelve, khell again. I'm assuming no reactions from anyone. If anyone wants to stick in a marker for a reaction with me or Gnaw we'll make sure the game doesn't progress without you getting your reaction. Not that I'm imagining it's going to get very rapid anytime soon

fuck me. My shop laptop just overwrote the svg file.
IH, do you have a good local copy???
If it’s already not too late, disconnect your computer from the internet, rename the file, then reconnect and sync.

You have zero ships in the tier 1. You have 2 cruisers in the hive. You can move two hexes each so you can make those moves, but both ships will be coming from the hive.
And, yes, you would be at -13 AFTER that move.

Yep, that's right. Didn't have the latest game image when I posted. I meant to move whatever 2 cruisers were not already in the ancient homeworld hex.

I guess we're pretty much at end of round then? Anybody have any more reactions planned?
I'm all excited now. It's fun having such a strong early-game fleet. Usually I sit on my ass up until round 5 behind a wall of starbases.

A couple of bad rolls and your fleet might be in trouble.

Given ancient targeting rules, it will piss away a hit on my interceptor, so I get a mulligan of sorts on the cruisers. I also have initiative, so even if I don't kill it the first time around there's no possible way it can kill a cruiser.
So I'd have to miss all 6 ion shots 2 rounds in a row...and if my luck is that bad well then there ain't much I can do.
Chances against both ancients are pretty damn solid I think.

Pragmatism.
Khell is next door to you and out for revenge.
Twelve is a better player than I am. Remember those average scores. If you pin his cruiser, his interceptors cannot retreat so they're both toast. I build a third starbase in the supernova and probably destroy that cruiser
You lose 3 mats.
Twelve loses 10 mats.
I've got 3 starbases tied up in basically useless positions. And my bank is $0, 0, 0.
Pretty good outcome for your 3 mat investment, no?

Just a quick heads up - my pulsar influence disc should now be on the move circle rather than the build circle.
