Money - 2+4=6
Science - 0+4=4
Materials - 2+6=8

Because I lost the wormhole hex, my cost for the round should be -7 Money.
Can I trade resources during upkeep? If so, trade 2 science for 1 money to pay my upkeep.
Leaving me with 0 Money, 2 Science, 8 Material.
If not, then bankrupt the Pulsar hex.
Leaving me with 1 Money, 4 Science, 8 Material.
Money - 2+4=6
Science - 0+4=4
Materials - 2+6=8
----
Because I lost the wormhole hex, my cost for the round should be -7 Money.
Can I trade resources during upkeep? If so, trade 2 science for 1 money to pay my upkeep.

Although I'm having a hard time reconciling my income on my playerboard with the cubes on the map and from dip...
Home planet leaves me at 3 income for each, right?
Then I have a science cube on the pulsar, putting that at 4.
Then I have two diplo cubes, which I'm pretty sure I put on Materials, putting me at 6.
However, I was apparently at 6 money, but only lost one money cube from the wormhole hex, so I'm not seeing where that extra money came from.

Mine is straight forward
Build production shrine on homeworld, which leaves me at:
M 4 + 8 -7 = 5
S 3 + 8 = 11
P 0+ 8= 8
Tappers is also straightforward
M 4 + 8 -10 = 2
S 0 + 12 = 12
P 6 + 4 = 10
The flare alliance certainly likes moves... it's pretty rare for one person to have all discs used at this stage, for 3 players to be on -30 upkeep is pretty much unheard of!

You discarded a money cube at the start of the game. Everyone gets 1 more cube discarded in 9 player.

Okay I have Gnaw getting the Warp Portal discovery way early in the game. And I believe there is only one of these. Are you sure Khell drew the Warp Portal? Another post mentioned that there is a second artifact on this hex. was it the other ancient orbital you meant instead?
