I think everyone is on the list now. We missing anybody? It would make sense for the last slot to go to Morgoth, but he's away for quite awhile no?

Wasn't there someone new who was interested in trying it out? Or did I just totally dream that up?

Speak for yourself but I accept that is how most of you all play. A slow fix is better than no fix at all.

Got my fingers crossed that I get to pick my race early enough to get the one I want!

Ok I will draw techs and start setting up the board when I get a chance.
What do people think about partially doing the player order in relation to timezones? With europeans and north americans on opposite sides of the board (or at least people who most commonly post at similar times on the same side of the board), that way it will be more likely that players following on from each other will be awake after a new order is posted.
For example I've noticed in this game that often a NA posts, then the game grinds to a halt as the europeans are in bed and the game is waiting until they have got home from work and posted.
EDIT: Also nothing starts until game IV is done, otherwise we'll never finish it

That's a sound idea.
However that almost makes it certain that we'll end up with NA vs Euro
Edit: Imagine if you will - Twelve and D'rek in one alliance.

Depends on how we are determining pass order right? Do we always use clockwise? Use the RotA second-pass-decides-rotation mod? (which if we are sorted by timezone clockwise will make things really slow whenever we go counter clockwise) Or do we use the SP1 pass-order-determines-play-order-next-round variant?
For that matter, what other options are we using?
--Supernovas?
--Pulsars?
--Nebulas?
--Which developments included and how many randomly drawn?
--All discoveries (including the SP1 and Nebula ones)?
--GCDS, Ancient Dreadnaught, or Advanced GCDS?
--Alliances?
--Will choosing Terran/Magellan remove the opposite side of a player board from being chosen?
---
My votes would be to include everything possible: all discoveries, all developments available, add Nebulas, have one random Ancient Homeworld in Tier 2, randomly choose between the two Advanced GCDSs since we haven't used those yet, yes alliances, and Terran/Magellan picks do not cancel out other races
For that matter, what other options are we using?

I agree with the everything. Including those 4 new ambassador developments.
And D'rek has a point about rotation. If we divide the board between NA and Eurozone, then the pass == turn order can't be used.
