Open world
I'm yet to start caring about the AssCreed series. maybe someday I'll get to it.
I would like to give MGS5 a spin, but I've never played the earlier games.. maybe?
GTA V + Just cause 3--way behind in these series.
Arkham Knight --YES PLEASE. (just finishing up my initial Arkham origins playthrough, this time next year I'll be ready for more batty goodness.
Mad Max-sounds interesting.
Action
Mirror's Edge 2- Please be good, please be good, please be......
Nitman next.... eh, will wait on reviews on this one.
Titan Souls looks like it'll be worth a look-see. I also really need to play Demons' Souls at some point.
I don't see another Deus Ex game next year, unfortunately.
FPS... besides Hellraid firt-person-stabby, I really don't see nayhting here.
RPGs
THE WITCHER 3
Pillars of Eternity
Torment: Tides of Numenera
I've already pre-ordered all the above, incidentally.
Cyberpunk 2077 won't be a 2015 release, no way.
Frontiers looks nice
Kingdom Come- Deliverance--I've also khelped to Kickstart this one.
Dex-also kickstarted.
ARPGs look scarce... but Kyn looks intriguing
2d shooters- skip, not of any interest
Fighting games- skip
Strategy: I've given up on grand strategy. nevertheless:
-satellite reign- kickstarted
Grey Goo looks like a classic RTS... colour me intrigued
Invisible Inc looks like a spy-themed X-com.. me like
Missing from the list are a kickstarted RTS Universum: War front, which is a gorgeous Star-Craft II look-alike being made by 1 guy. (I already have the beta sitting somewhere in my e-mail, havent had a a chance to check it out yet)
Also, a similar list on RPS said there's a Spell Force 3 in the works. Which is totally awesome.
Adventure--not a huge ADventure guy, but I've been hearing for ages about how Grim Fandango is one of those "iconic" games, so I'd like to try the remastered edition.
Exploration games:
Death in Candlewood- I helped to Kickstart it the first time, and it failed. Apparetly the game is still being made. huh. It's like "Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the World", but more open-world. Wanted then and still want now.
Crossing the line sounds like an detective game with Soul-reaver-esque twist. colour me interested.
Also I supported the Pathologic remake kickstarter. Mayhap I'll get around to playing the original before it comes out....
MMO-skip
Platformer-skip
Puzzle- I heard about Volume. anyhting wit stealth is worht a quizzically raised brow, at least.
sport-skip
Sim-Clockwork Empires!!! it's like the old Colonization game, but with Cthulhu!
also, coamonautica looks interesting.
Racing-Skip. the only racer tat ever held a special place in my heart was Microsoft's Monster Truck Madness and its sequel
Overall, for mee looks like another Year of the RPG. Plus Arkham Knight. And Mirror's Edge 2 (please be good, please be good, please be....)

I bought MGS: Ground Zeroes during the Steam Sale. If Phantom Pain plays like Ground Zeroes, then it is going to be a hell of an experience. It's probably a matter of degrees but the controls in general were just spot on for me. Most polished third person shooting experience I can remember.
