Fuck, I guess I'm downloading all of Rebels to watch on the 50 hours of airplane time I'll be doing for the next month.

Jesus this show is shit! How many time are they gonna use the looking for supplies routine?

REBELS is very much a building blocks show to the Alliance as a proper major threat to the Empire through not just the big action set pieces, but the smaller stuff like getting ships, fuel, and trashing minor Imperial things in order to disrupt the whole shebang. Episodes like the one with the Purgill feel like pointless filler till the end of the series, for example. But yeah, it's a small rebel cell moving from minor supply runs, and surgical strikes at Imperial outposts, to much bigger stuff like stealing a massive fighter transport ship for the wider cause.

He is.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Rebels is why I happy to have Disney+. I never watched it when it was on air, but have seen great things online, and I agree with all of the above comments above. It is surprisingly good for a "kids" show - a lot of depth to the characters and stories. I am really enoying binge watching it.

I watched Resistance last year via a DVR, and I didn't particularly like it then, now I see why people complained about it so much, it is terrible compared to Rebels!

Going to post this in the SW threads here for traffic reasons. If any of y'all besides QT are gamers then do yourself a favor and go get Jedi Fallen Order and enfuckingjoy! I've been utterly in love with this game for about a month now and it has been worth every penny I paid! I mean just incredible. I think it may top KOTOR for me in the end though it's been since that was new and my memory is getting a bit hazy on it. Maybe replay time! I'm not gonna get into specifics on it just wanted to get the word in these threads about it for those that don't go into the game's forum.

I hope some of y'all try it and have my same lvl of enjoyment on it.

Got a PS4 and that game for my daughter for Christmas. She's not an uber gamer but she likes SW Battlefront and some others. Glad to hear Fallen Order is good.

Made it to season 2 ep 3 of Rebels. Season 1 was just ok, but season 2 completely steps it up a notch.

And..

So we got the Kanan Jarrus 12 comic omnibus for my daughter for Christmas, as well as the Fallen Order game (more on that in a bit). She finished the book by the day after Christmas, put it down and announced that Kanan is now her favorite Jedi. I just finished it myself and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was enough of his backstory to be pretty fully satisfied with, as well as a decent amount of probably pretty early-on-in-Rebels content. The Rebels content was extra cool just because I read all the dialogue in the actor's voices. I have no real comic book knowledge to judge from but I thought the artwork was of fine quality and the character concept drawings sprinkled in between the issues and at the end were great to see. But the most impressive thing of all about it, to me, is that it's well written enough that I have become intrigued by Kanan's master, Depa Bilaba, a Jedi I'm not even sure I knew of before seeing Rebels! (My daughter is already on it and Depa Bilaba is shown in the prequels on the Jedi council so shows what I know.) Next up we will be getting New Dawn, the short book that covers Kanan and Hera's meeting and the forging of their partnership. All in all the omnibus is more than worth the $25 I paid for it, loving Rebels as my household does.

@BK: Big credit to you, you called it on Fallen Order. I watched my daughter for nearly the first half hour of play and it looked great. She's loving it, trying to carve out blocks of time long enough to get a good amount of play in.

There a now Legends novel she appears in. Its called Shatterpoint and follows Mace Windu in what is basically Apocalypse Now in Star Wars. Personally I love it.

So there are strong rumors (Kessel Run Transmissions [?] broke the rumor, with a supposedly reliable source) that there will be a sequel show to Rebels appearing on D+ by the end of this year! There are end of series spoilers in what I read so I didn't post a link but I saw it in multiple places. I even saw rumors of the actual plot that sound fine with me! The animation is supposed to be "tighter" than Rebels (?) but also a blend of TCW and Rebels. If this comes true, I will over the twin suns!

The end of Rebels is crying out for a sequel.

More Ahsoka, Ezra, Thrawn, Sabine... Mando crossovers.. all my favourite content really!
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I saw some "leaks" predicting plot points. If even half of them are right, I'm excited for what we'll get!

I saw all this stuff...yes, this makes a TONNE of logical sense...REBELS ended on a not-cliffhanger yet still-a-cliffhanger as a great lead-in to another series.

I cannot say how much that possibility excites me.

On the rewatch, up to S3 ep 8 or so (Iron Squadron). It's been a blast. There was all of one 'filler' ep (Hera's Heroes) and everything else has been awesome. Am loving what they're doing with Thrawne.
