FWIW biscuits =/= buiscuits and gravy =/= gravy. As far as I've looked it seems to be un-risen scones with some sugar-loaded gloop. So Americas finest attempt at scones and jam that ends up nothing like it properly should be.

no my friend. biscuits are lighter and fluffier than scones. The gravy is made with flour that is put in a skillet with the grease remaining from the frying of bacon or sausage. This is heated with some milk, a tad of black pepper until it unifies and is served hot with the biscuits. The addition of crumbled sausage is a variation. No sugar involved.
